The Rules Division 1: Open Classes 01 Exhibitors must live in The Lee Parish, Ballinger, Potter Row or South Heath, be a member of Ballinger Horticultural Society, have an allotment at Lee Common or Ballinger or have a child at Lee Common School. see rule 5 Children who are exhibiting must either live in these areas, or attend Lee Common School, or be a member of Lee Common Scout Group. Best in Show Trophy – Best horticultural exhibit 02 A visitor is any exhibitor other than one covered by rule 1 above. Open Classes Cup – Most points in 1-48 excl 22 & 23 03 An exhibitor may enter more than one exhibit in a class, but only one prize will be awarded. Cottager Cup – Runner up in 1-48 excl 22 & 23 04 Exhibits must be staged between 8:30 am and 10:30 am – ready for prompt judging. William Holland Cup – Most points in 3-5 05 In Division 1 produce is judged on quality, except for floral art classes, Visitors Cup – Most points in 23, 30 & 50 and must have been grown by the exhibitor. Please name variety of vegetables, fruit and pot plants if known. 06 In the classes 1 and 19 collections the same number of each kind must CLASS: Vegetables be shown as in separate classes e.g. four onions, four potatoes, three beetroot, five peas and two of any other vegetable.
