Go electric with
the Kia EV6
The new Kia EV6 brings together cutting-edge battery technology,
performance and versatility in one striking crossover SUV.

The EV6 gets the very latest in battery technology from Kia, making it
supremely capable. Its E-GMP platform lets you cover up to 328 miles* on
one charge. Not only that, but you can also charge the battery from 10-80%
in just 18 minutes, so your stops en route leave you refreshed rather than
left waiting.

What’s more, the EV6 is a thrilling drive that will conquer the heart of even
the most die-hard petrolhead. Kia chassis engineers have worked hard to
match its performance with high levels of comfort and agility, making sure
the EV6 is as sure-footed as it is cosseting.

The EV6 has been built as an electric vehicle from the ground up. With a
long wheelbase and a flat floor, it redefines interior cabin space and brings
capacious luggage compartments to cater for every eventuality.

with a three-pin plug, such as laptops, camping
equipment, electric bicycles or even your home.

18 minutes is all the
time you’ll ever need
The EV6 is about the thrill of the open road and exploring
new locations. With a range of up to 328 miles* thanks to
its 77.4kWh battery, the EV6 keeps you on the road longer
than any other Kia electric car. And when you need to stop to
recharge, Kia has you covered.

The EV6 is the first Kia built using the new and revolutionary
Electric-Global Modular Platform (E-GMP) that features
400/800-volt charging as standard. This means a 10-80%
charge can be achieved in as little as 18 minutes - twice as
fast as most EVs - at the fastest compatible charge points.

Short on time and only need a little extra range? EV6 can
recharge at up to 62 miles in just five minutes.

Making public charging easy
Kia Charge is an exclusive Kia service allowing you to charge
at the majority of UK and European public charging stations
using just one app and account. The Kia Charge app lets
you charge at more than 17,500 charge points in the UK,
including bp pulse, Pod Point, Source London, Osprey
or InstaVolt networks. It also allows you to benefit from
preferential Kia prices within IONITY’s network of ultra-fast
350kW chargers.

A new level of interaction
You have the ability to schedule your charging and pre-set
your cabin temperature. Get notified if anything is wrong with
your car, for example if you’ve left a window open or if the
washer fluid level is low. You can also configure your car to
suit you, all from your phone.

EV questions answered
Electric cars represent our future on the road, so it is important to
understand them. Here are some of the most common questions and how
the EV6 answers them.

How long does it take to charge?
The Kia EV6 is equipped with a large long-range 77.4kWh
battery and 400/800-volt charging as standard. This
allows for up to 60 miles of range in just 4.5mins at a
350kW ultra-fast charger. Plugging in using a 7kW home
charger will take 9h 58mins for a 0-100% charge, while a
50kW rapid charger will take 73 mins, 0-80%.

How far can I travel on one charge?
The Kia EV6 offers a 328 mile* range from just one charge
and with Kia Charge, and the IONITY network, you can
travel across the UK and Europe with just one app. Range
will vary depending on several factors including driving
and charging habits, accessory use, temperature and
topography, battery age, load, and vehicle condition.

Are electric cars reliable?
All Kia cars, including the electric EV6, are covered by
our seven-year/100,000 mile warranty as standard
for complete peace of mind. Electric motors are less
complex than a petrol or diesel engine thanks to having
just one moving part. Components such as brakes,
suspension and tyres require routine servicing.

How costly are electric cars to run?
EV energy tariffs allow you to benefit from cheap energy
to charge your EV6 at home. To work out how much
it costs to charge, multiply your electricity unit rate in
pence by the battery capacity in kWh. Electric cars also
have reduced servicing and maintenance compared to a
petrol or diesel model, thanks to a simpler powertrain.

Power or energy?
Power and energy are closely related but often confused.
The key difference is time. A battery’s energy capacity is
measured in kilowatt-hour (kWh), as is energy you buy
at home, while power is measured in kilowatt (kW). The
EV6 is powered by 168kW-430kW electric motors and all
grades come with a long-range 77.4kWh battery that can
be recharged at up to 350kW.

better for the environment with no exhaust emissions.

                                                     Plug-in Hybrid
A plug-in hybrid gets all the benefits of a self-charging hybrid, but it
has a larger battery and an electrical socket. This means you can plug
it in at home or at a public chargepoint to give you a 30-mile electric
range. When that electric range is depleted, the car automatically
                                                     switches to self-charging hybrid mode.

Self-Charging Hybrid
Switching between petrol and electric automatically optimises driving
performance, improves fuel economy and lowers emissions. Simply
get in and drive. No plugging in required.

Mild Hybrid
Mild Hybrids use a small battery and a clever motor/generator to
save fuel and lower emissions. This helps lower your costs without
changing how you use your car.
