ers located in Al Satwa, Dubai just behind Chel-
sea Tower. The building has been provided with
intelligent networked fire alarm System from Ad-
vanced, UK. Integrated Fire Alarm System with
Voice Evacuation, Fire Telephone Jack and Fire
Operator’s Panel is provided in the building.
The building is protected by Fire Fighting System
with the help of a Fire Pump installed in Base-
ment Floor. The Fire Protection System is divided
into lower and upper zones in order maintain the
proper pressure.
Concealed Residential Fire Sprinkler Systems,
where the sprinkler heads sit out of sight in the
ceiling void, do not disturb the visual impact of
the areas they protect , and can in fact contrib-

Located on Dubai Marina, overlooking Sheikh
Zayed Road, the flagship corporate HQ will boast
10 floors for parking, 19 floors for offices, an el-
evated glass boardroom on the 20th floor and 12
high-speed elevators.
The building has a total of 4,500 devices, in-
cluding six Axis four loop panels and 30 audio
amplifiers, one dedicated to each floor of the
building. Axis panels can be used in single loop,
single panel format or easily configured into

A new destination for shopping, dining and re-
laxed entertainment Nakheel Mall is the focal
point for the many residences, offices and hotels
on The Palm Jumeirah and Dubai city as a whole.
The Nakheel Mall is built on an area of nearly
one million square feet and feature a 200-room
state-of-the-art, five star hotel; 200 hotel apart-
ments and a 180 metre high viewing deck offer-
ing spectacular panoramic sea views. The mall
has been designed around architectural repre-
sentations of water that reflect its location at the
heart of Palm Jumeirah and include a variety of
indoor and outdoor features that echo nature.
Nakheel Mall draws upon insightful architectural
preplanning ensures a smooth, continuous flow
of visitors throughout the mall at all times. It

THE BRIEF
Dubai Hills Business Park is a fast-track shell and
core business park development in Dubai Hills
Estate designed by RSP Architects.
The office buildings are seven storey plus ground
level, with six floors of parking provided in a fifth
building. The total built area of the project is
150,000sq m. The flat slab construction system
includes ‘soft spots’ for future openings.
WME engineers have developed an on-site strat-
egy for storm water dispersal using underground
tanks to store water for landscaping, as the plot
has no network connection.
This project is due for completion in May 2018
and is one of the first in Dubai to comply with
the new Al Sa’Fat building sustainability perfor-
mance ratings.

THE BRIEF
The opulent theatre set in the heart and soul of
Bollywood Parks™ Dubai, has a capacity of 856
seats. This landmark structure has all the gran-
deur and poise of ancient Indian cinema with
new-age technology. The design draws inspira-
tion from the royal palaces of India and creates
a lavish backdrop for live shows. The Rajmahal
Theatre also plays host to private weddings, cor-
porate and other events.

THE BRIEF
Expansion of Wafi Mall, a shopping and hospi-
tality complex in Dubai. Phase 8 comprising a
50-storey hotel offering 528 hotel rooms and 100
serviced apartments.
The project includes a Carrefour market. It has
a number of dining options including an Asian
speciality restaurant, gastro pub, a unique des-
tination restaurant, bar and lounge on the 43rd
and 44th Floors, a French lobby café, an all-day
restaurant and pool bar, spa, gymnasium, out-
door pools, private cabanas and a kids club. It
also comprises of 10 meeting rooms in addition
to a 1,115 square meter ballroom.
