THE “CHASE THE SAVINGS TEAM MEMBER
SWEEPSTAKES”
2021 OFFICIAL RULES
The "Chase the Savings Team Member Sweepstakes” (the "Team Member Sweepstakes") is offered by Save Mart Supermarkets ("Team
Member Sweepstakes Sponsor") and is administered by WSP International Limited ("Administrator"). Team Member Sweepstakes
Sponsor and Administrator herein after will be referred to as the Team Member Sweepstakes Entities.
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO PLAY. MAKING A PURCHASE WILL NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.
General Team Member Sweepstakes Information: The Team Member Sweepstakes is being played at approximately 150 participating
Save Mart, Lucky, and Lucky California stores (“Participating Locations”) in the states of California (CA) and Nevada (NV). Only Chase
the Savings game tickets with Series #SMCS-21 printed on the game ticket are valid for this Team Member Sweepstakes. Game tickets
will be awarded when you purchase multiple quantities of identified featured products (“Qualifying Items”) available at Participating
Locations during a single transaction. Obtain one (1) game ticket from any cashier or authorized personnel every time you make a
purchase of any three (3) Qualifying Items, at a Participating Location during the Team Member Sweepstakes Period. Obtain two (2)
Game Tickets when you purchase any six (6) of the Qualifying Items. Obtain three (3) Game Tickets when you purchase any nine (9) of
the Qualifying Items. Obtain four (4) Game Tickets when you purchase any twelve (12) of the Qualifying Items. Obtain five (5) Game
Tickets when you purchase any fifteen (15) of the Qualifying Items. Maximum limit of five (5) game tickets per transaction. Qualifying
Items include only specially marked items that you purchase during the Team Member Sweepstakes Period and you may purchase any
combination of Qualifying Items as long as the total items purchased meets the requirements as detailed above. You can view the
complete list of the Qualifying Items at www.chasethesavings.com/contest/HowToPlay or visit a Participating Location. Game Ticket
quantities are limited and will be available while supplies last at each Participating Location. Qualifying Items subject to availability at
each Participating Location.
No Purchase Game Tickets: You can obtain a game ticket without making a purchase by sending a self-addressed, stamped envelope to
"Save Mart Chase the Savings Team Member Ticket Request, P.O. Box 763, Tonawanda, NY 14151-0763”, if you shop at a Save Mart
location, or to “Lucky Chase the Savings Team Member Ticket Request, P.O. Box 764, Tonawanda, NY 14151-0764”, if you shop at a
Lucky or Lucky California location. Requests must be postmarked by May 25, 2021 and received by June 1, 2021. Each No Purchase
Entrant will receive five (5) game tickets per request. Limit one request per outer mailing envelope. Limit forty-nine (49) total No
Purchase requests per person (one per day of the Team Member Sweepstakes Period, see details below). No mechanically reproduced or
computer-generated requests allowed. Any questions, concerns or comments regarding the Team Member Sweepstakes can be forwarded
to gamemaster@chasethesavings.com or send your questions, concerns or comments to "Chase the Savings, 600 Main Street, #300,
Tonawanda, NY 14151-0888”.
1) TEAM MEMBER SWEEPSTAKES DATES: The Team Member Sweepstakes begins at 12:00:01 AM, Pacific Time (“PT”) or the
start of business on April 14, 2021 (the "Team Member Sweepstakes Start Date"). The Team Member Sweepstakes is scheduled to end in-
store at 11:59:59 PM PT or the time that a given Participating Location closes on June 8, 2021 (the "Scheduled Team Member
Sweepstakes End Date") or whenever Game Ticket supplies are exhausted, whichever occurs first. The period between the Team Member
Sweepstakes Start Date and the Scheduled Team Member Sweepstakes End Dates is known as the "Team Member Sweepstakes Period".
Certain components of the Team Member Sweepstakes will end on different dates, as indicated elsewhere in these rules.
2) WHO CAN PLAY: The Team Member Sweepstakes is open to any current employee of Team Member Sweepstakes Sponsor and
each of their respective immediate family members (i.e., spouse, parent, child, sibling) and persons living in the same household who are
18 years of age or older as of Team Member Sweepstakes Start Date.
3) HOW TO PLAY: There are two ways to play: INSTANT WIN and PLAY ONLINE. Carefully tear open your Game Ticket along
the perforation and gently peel open to find an Instant Win message, a Play Online message, or both.
INSTANT WIN GAME: The Instant Win game is included as part of the consumer game and all of the following information
pertains to both the Team Member Sweepstakes and the consumer Sweepstakes. When opened, some Game Tickets will reveal a
message that reads “You’ve Won!” followed by the description of an Instant Product Prize, a Save Smart Rewards Points Prize, or
a Lucky You Rewards Points Prize, collectively Instant Prizes (“Instant Prizes”). There are a total of 642,430 Instant Prizes
available to be won. Individual and overall odds of winning an Instant Prize are noted in the charts below.
The following are offered as Instant Prizes in 1,918,500 game tickets available for distribution:

WHAT TO DO WHEN YOU GET A TICKET WITH AN INSTANT WIN MESSAGE:
INSTANT PRODUCT PRIZES: Go to the location where you obtained your ticket or to any Participating Location, pick
up the product described and present it with the original corresponding game ticket at checkout for verification and to claim
your prize. Does not include applicable taxes or CRV.
INSTANT SAVE SMART AND LUCKY YOU REWARDS POINTS PRIZES: Go to the location where you obtained
your ticket or to any Participating Location, and present your original game ticket to the checkout for verification and to
claim your prize. You must be a Save Smart Rewards Member in order to redeem Save Smart Rewards Points Prizes.
You must be a Lucky You Rewards Member in order to redeem Lucky You Rewards Points. Points subject to terms
and conditions of the applicable rewards program. Rewards Memberships are free. You can become a Save Smart Rewards
Member at www.savemart.com or a Lucky You Rewards Member at www.luckysupermarkets.com.
Game tickets cannot be doubled or combined with any other offer. Game Tickets are void if copied, transferred and where
prohibited by law. Total redemption may not exceed the retail value of the item. For all prizes redeemed at Participating
Locations, you must surrender your winning game ticket to the cashier before your prize will be awarded. All Instant Prizes
must be redeemed before close of business on June 22, 2021 unless otherwise noted herein.
ONLINE TEAM MEMBER SWEEPSTAKES: There is a separate Online Team Member Sweepstakes. All Game Tickets
include a unique PIN that can be used to enter the Online Team Member Sweepstakes. To enter the Online Team Member
Sweepstakes, go to www.chasethesavings.com any time after 12:00:01 AM PT on the Team Member Sweepstakes Start Date.
Follow the link to complete the first time electronic entry registration form and follow the onscreen instructions to enter. You must
have a valid PIN to enter. Once you have entered a valid PIN, as indicated on your Game Ticket, you will automatically receive one
(1) Online Team Member Sweepstakes Ballot Entry (“Online Ballot”), into the online drawings. Save Smart Rewards Members and
Lucky You Rewards Members will automatically receive an additional one (1) Bonus Online Team Member Sweepstakes Entry
(“Bonus Online Entry”) for every valid PIN entered. PINs must be entered before 11:59:59 PM PT on June 10, 2021. Each PIN can
only be entered once. Limit of eighty-four (84) PIN entries per person over the entire Team Member Sweepstakes Period. To enter
online you must have at a minimum Internet Explorer 9, Chrome 25.0, Mozilla Firefox 30.00, Opera 16, or Safari 4.0. In the event

Holder” of the email address provided by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization (i.e. business,
educational institution) that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email
address. MAXIMUM OF ONE ONLINE PRIZE PER HOUSEHOLD.
BONUS ONLINE TEAM MEMBER SWEEPSTAKES BALLOT ENTRY FROM BONUS CODES: Throughout the Team
Member Sweepstakes period, the Team Member Sweepstakes Sponsor will post Bonus Codes on their social media pages
(including but not limited to Instagram and Facebook). Bonus Codes will also be printed in select weekly ads. Customers can enter
the Bonus Codes at www.chasethesavings.com and will automatically receive one (1) Online Team Member Sweepstakes Entry
into the online drawings, per valid Bonus Code entered. Save Smart Rewards Members and Lucky You Rewards Members will
automatically receive an additional one (1) Online Team Member Sweepstakes Entry for every valid Bonus Code entered. See
social media post for details. Bonus Codes can only be entered once. Facebook and Instagram in no way sponsor these Team
Member Sweepstakes.
ONLINE TEAM MEMBER SWEEPSTAKES DRAWINGS: There will be seventy (70) Online Team Member
Sweepstakes Drawings to award a total of seventy (70) online Team Member Sweepstakes prizes; see table below for
schedule of drawings and prizes to be won. A total of thirty-five (35) prizes will be available to be awarded to eligible
participating Save Mart Team Members; a total of thirty-five (35) prizes will be able to be won by eligible participating
Lucky/Lucky California Team Members, as shown in Table 3 below.
Odds of winning any Online Drawing prize depends on the number of eligible Online Ballots and Bonus Online Entries
received for each drawing and prior to the date of each drawing. All non-winning eligible Ballot Entries will be entered into
the next draw, but winning Ballot Entries will be removed. Each Online Drawing prize is nontransferable and no cash
substitution, in part or in whole, is allowed. All online drawings will be performed by the Team Member Sweepstakes
Administrators, at their offices, on or about the dates specified in the table below.

The Race Weekend is currently scheduled to be held from June 5, 2021 until June 6, 2021, at the Sonoma Raceway in
Chase the Savings – Team Member Official Rules – Version Date: March 16, 2021 4Sonoma, California. Prize ARV $258.00. Total ARV: $10,320.00. Prizes may not be resold or offered for resale or used for
any commercial or promotional purpose whatsoever. Any such resale or commercial or promotional use may result in
disqualification and prize forfeiture.
Toyota/Save Mart 350 NASCAR® Race event dates and times are determined in the sole discretion of the Toyota/Save Mart
350 NASCAR® Race Event Organizers (“Event Entities”), and may be subject to change. The terms and conditions of the
tickets awarded as part of the prize will govern in the event that the race is not held, as applicable, due to weather conditions,
an act of God, a pandemic, an act of terrorism, civil disturbance, or any other reason outside of the reasonable control of
Toyota/ Save Mart 350 NASCAR® Race Event Organizers. Winner and his/her guest agree to comply with all applicable
Event Entities, regulations in connection with the prize. Team Member Sweepstakes Sponsor and the Event Entities reserve
the right to remove or to deny entry to the winner and/or his/her guest who engage(s) in a non-sportsmanlike or disruptive
manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person at the race. Released Parties (defined below) will
not be responsible for events outside of Released Parties’ control, including but not limited to: weather conditions, Acts of
God, pandemic, acts of terrorism, civil disturbances, work stoppage or any other natural disasters control that may cause the
cancellation or postponement of the Toyota/Save Mart 350 NASCAR® Race event. Prizes may not be transferred, resold or
offered for resale or used for any commercial or promotional purpose whatsoever. Any such transfer, resale or commercial
or promotional use may result in disqualification and prize forfeiture, and may invalidate the ticket to the event.
4) NOTIFICATION AND REDEMPTION:
For Instant Prizes: All prize claims are subject to verification by Administrator and/or personnel authorized by the Team Member
Sweepstakes Sponsor at the Participating Location at which the prize claim is presented and surrendered for redemption
For Online Prizes: If you have been selected as a potential winner in any of the drawings described above, the Team Member
Sweepstakes Sponsor or Administrator will notify you via email or phone (in Sponsor and/or Administrator’s sole discretion). As a
condition of awarding any Online Prize, winner must have signed and returned, within five (5) days of receipt, the Team Member
Sweepstakes Sponsor’s Compliance, Release, and Indemnity Form under which, among other matters, winner confirms his/her
compliance and eligibility with these Official Rules, completes, provides proof of identity and releases and indemnifies Team
Member Sweepstakes Sponsor, Administrator and such other parties as designated in such form. If a potential winner refuses or
fails to timely return the required documents with proof of identity, in accordance with these Official Rules; is found to have
violated the Official Rules of the Team Member Sweepstakes in any way; is deemed ineligible to receive a prize for any reason; or
if any prize or prize notification from Team Member Sweepstakes Sponsor or Administrator is returned as undeliverable, the
potential winner will be disqualified and will be deemed to have forfeited the prize in question.
A minimum of three (3) attempts will be made to contact any potential winner. Prizes that are not claimed within five (5) days of
the third attempt to be contacted will be deemed forfeited. In the case of the Online Team Member Sweepstakes prizes, Team
Member Sweepstakes Sponsor may hold a drawing to select one alternate prize winner from among the pool of remaining, eligible
entries received. For all other prizes, such unclaimed prizes will not be awarded to alternate winners.
In all cases, prizes may not be transferred or assigned except as provided herein. No prize substitutions are allowed, except as
provided herein. Sweepstakes Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to substitute an advertised prize (or portion thereof)
with a prize of equal or greater value for reasons that may include, but are not limited to: unavailability for any reason, event
cancellation, supply or production delays caused by labor disruptions, adverse weather conditions or any other unforeseen events.
All tax liability on all prizes is solely the responsibility of the winner. For prizes in excess of six-hundred ($600.00) dollars, you
will be required to provide your social security number and an IRS 1099 MISC form will be issued.
5) ODDS CHART: Odds of winning an Instant Prize are stated in Rule 3. As stated herein, odds of winning any Online Prize depends on
the number of eligible entries received in accordance with these Official Rules prior to each drawing.
6) PUBLICITY: Acceptance of a prize constitutes permission for Team Member Sweepstakes Sponsor to use any winner's name,
likeness, voice and/or comments for advertising, trade or promotional purposes worldwide in commerce and in any media without
limitation or additional compensation unless prohibited by law. The names of the Online Team Member Sweepstakes Drawings prize
winners will be published on the Team Member Sweepstakes Sponsor’s website location, social media channels, and available by mail
(see Rule 9) after the promotion ends, following verification of all prize winners.
7) PRIVACY: Except as otherwise stated in these rules, any personally identifiable information collected during an entrant’s
participation in the Team Member Sweepstakes will be collected by Sponsor or its designee and used by Sponsor, its affiliates, designees,
agents and marketers for purposes of the proper administration and fulfillment of the Team Member Sweepstakes as described in these
Official Rules and in accordance with Sponsor’s Privacy Policy as stated at https://www.savemart.com/privacy-policy
Chase the Savings – Team Member Official Rules – Version Date: March 16, 2021 58) RESTRICTIONS: The following are prohibited and will result in automatic disqualification from the Team Member Sweepstakes: (1)
using any method that artificially increases odds of winning; (2) non-compliance with these Official Rules; and (3) any other act which the
Team Member Sweepstakes Sponsor determines, in its sole discretion, jeopardizes the integrity or proper conduct of the Team Member
Sweepstakes.
CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY ANY PERSON TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE OR OTHERWISE
CORRUPT THE TEAM MEMBER SWEEPSTAKES OR TO UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF
THE SWEEPSTAKES MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS. SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT
BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO DISQUALIFY, PROSECUTE AND SEEK DAMAGES FROM
ANY SUCH PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
9) LIST OF WINNERS: The names of the major prize winners and a copy of the complete Official Rules are available through
chasethesavings.com or by sending a self-addressed, stamped envelope to "Chase the Savings, 600 Main Street, #300, Tonawanda, NY
14151-0888” for at least sixty (60) days after the Team Member Sweepstakes End Date. Please specify “Rules” and/or “Winners’ List” in
your request.
10) TEAM MEMBER SWEEPSTAKES MATERIALS: All Team Member Sweepstakes materials will be rejected and judged void if:
not obtained from authorized personnel through legitimate channels; any part of any Team Member Sweepstakes materials is illegible,
altered, mutilated, counterfeit, miscut, misregistered, defaced, tampered with, forged, printed or produced in error, incomplete, blank or
partially blank, mechanically reproduced or irregular in any way. All Team Member Sweepstakes materials submitted for verification
become the property of Team Member Sweepstakes Sponsor and will not be returned. Liability for the issuance of void ticket, if any, is
limited to replacement of ticket from random stock while supplies last. Team Member Sweepstakes Sponsor is not responsible for lost or
stolen tickets. No more than the number of prizes stated in these Official Rules will be awarded. If, for any reason, the number of prize
claims received exceeds the stated number of prizes at any prize level, Sponsor reserves the right to award the stated number of prizes
through a random drawing from among all prize claims received for that prize level or while prize supplies last.
11) GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS: The Team Member Sweepstakes Sponsor reserves the right to terminate or withdraw the
Team Member Sweepstakes or to amend these Official Rules at any time, without prior notice. Unless otherwise noted, all income taxes,
reporting consequences thereof, fees and all other expenses and surcharges on prizes, if any, are the sole responsibility of the
prizewinners, except as provided herein. By participating in this Team Member Sweepstakes, entrants agree that the Team Member
Sweepstakes Entities and their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, representatives, consultants, contractors, legal counsel, advertising,
public relations, promotional, fulfillment and marketing agencies, website providers, Web masters and their respective officers, directors,
employees, representatives, designees and agents (collectively the “Released Parties”) are not responsible for: (1) any incorrect or
inaccurate information, whether caused by entrants, printing, typographical or other errors or by any of the equipment or programming
associated with or utilized in the Team Member Sweepstakes; (2) technical failures of any kind, including, but not limited to malfunctions,
interruptions, or disconnections in phone lines or network hardware or software, or lost, interrupted or unavailable network, server,
Internet Service Provider (ISP), website, or other connections, availability or accessibility or miscommunications or failed computer,
satellite, telephone or cable transmissions, lines, or technical failure or jumbled, scrambled, delayed, or misdirected transmissions; (3)
unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Team Member Sweepstakes; (4) other errors or problems of any
kind relating to or in connection with Team Member Sweepstakes, whether computer, network, technical, mechanical, typographical,
printing, human or otherwise, including, but not limited to, errors or problems which may occur in the administration of the Team
Member Sweepstakes or the processing of Code requests, entries, plays or prize claims, the announcement of the prizes or in any
Sweepstakes-related materials; (5) late, lost, undeliverable, damaged, incomplete, inaccurate, stolen, garbled, delayed, misdirected or
stolen mail or entries; or (6) lost or intercepted winner notifications; or (7) any injury or damage to persons or property which may be
caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrant’s participation in the Team Member Sweepstakes or receipt or use or
misuse of any prize. If for any reason an entrant's entry is confirmed to have been erroneously deleted, lost, or otherwise destroyed or
corrupted, entrant’s sole remedy is another entry in the Team Member Sweepstakes, if it is possible. No more than the stated number of
prizes will be awarded.
12) RELEASE: By entering, entrants to release and hold harmless the Released Parties from and against any claim or cause of action,
including, but not limited to, personal injury, death, or damage to or loss of property, arising out of participation in the Team Member
Sweepstakes or receipt or use or misuse of any prize (including but not limited to any travel or activity related thereto). Entrants
represent and warrant that they own and/or have the authority to release the claims stated herein and each expressly
waives Section 1542 of the California Civil Code, which provides: “A general release does not extend to claims that the
creditor or releasing party does not know or suspect to exist in his or her favor at the time of executing the release,
and that if known by him or her would have materially affected his or her settlement with the debtor or released
party.” Winners will be required to sign a release as a condition precedent to receiving prizes.
13) DISPUTES: IF NOT RESOLVED THROUGH DIRECT DISCUSSIONS, ANY DISPUTE OR CLAIM SHALL BE
RESOLVED BY FINAL BINDING ARBITRATION WITH ONE EXPERIENCED ARBITRATOR LICENSED TO PRACTICE
LAW IN CALIFORNIA, , IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE RULES OF THE AMERICAN ARBITRATION ASSOCIATION

VENUE FOR ANY PROCEEDINGS WILL BE IN STANISLAUS COUNTY, CALIFORNIA OR IN THE EVENT A COURT OF COMPETENT JURISDICTION IS NOT LOCATED IN SUCH COUNTY, THE NEAREST COUNTY THERETO WITH A COURT OF COMPETENT JURISDICTION. REMEDIES SHALL BE SUBJECT TO ALL LIMITATIONS AND RELEASES IN THESE RULES, BE LIMITED TO ACTUAL OUT OF POCKET DAMAGES, AND SHALL NOT, IN ANY EVENT, INCLUDE ANY PUNITIVE, EXEMPLARY, CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES, ATTORNEYS’ FEES OR OTHER COSTS OR BRINGING A CLAIM, OR ANY INJUNCTIVE OR OTHER EQUITABLE RELIEF. ENTRANTS AGREE THAT THE RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS OF ANY ENTRANT AND/ OR TEAM MEMBER SWEEPSTAKES ENTITIES AND/OR ANY PARTY SHALL BE RESOLVED INDIVIDUALLY, WITHOUT RESORT TO ANY FORM OF CLASS ACTION. The arbitrator's decision in any such arbitration will be final and binding upon the parties and may be enforced in any court of competent jurisdiction. The parties agree that the arbitration will be kept confidential and that the existence of the proceeding and any element of it will not be disclosed beyond the arbitration proceedings, except as may be required by applicable law. If entrant demonstrates that the costs of arbitration will be prohibitive as compared to the costs of litigation, the Team Member Sweepstakes Sponsor will pay as much of the administrative costs and arbitrator’s fees required for the arbitration as the arbitrator deems necessary to prevent the cost of the arbitration from being prohibitive. In the final award, the arbitrator may apportion the costs of arbitration and the compensation of the arbitrator among the parties in such amounts as the arbitrator deems appropriate. This arbitration agreement does not preclude entrant from seeking action by federal, state, or local government agencies. Entrant and the Team Member Sweepstakes Sponsor also have the right to bring qualifying claims in small claims court. In addition, entrant and the Team Member Sweepstakes Sponsor retain the right to apply to any court of competent jurisdiction for provisional relief, including pre- arbitral attachments or preliminary injunctions, and any such request shall not be deemed incompatible with these Official Rules, nor a waiver of the right to have disputes submitted to arbitration as provided in these Official Rules. Neither entrant nor the Team Member Sweepstakes Sponsor may act as a class representative or private attorney general, nor participate as a member of a class of claimants, with respect to any claim. Claims may not be arbitrated on a class or representative basis. The arbitrator can decide only entrant and/or the Sweepstake Sponsor’s individual claims. The arbitrator may not consolidate or join the claims of other persons or parties who may be similarly situated. If for any reason a claim proceeds in court rather than in arbitration we each waive any right to a jury trial. THIS SECTION LIMITS CERTAIN RIGHTS, INCLUDING THE RIGHT TO MAINTAIN A COURT ACTION, THE RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL, THE RIGHT TO PARTICIPATE IN ANY FORM OF CLASS OR REPRESENTATIVE CLAIM, THE RIGHT TO ENGAGE IN DISCOVERY EXCEPT AS PROVIDED IN AAA RULES, AND THE RIGHT TO CERTAIN REMEDIES AND FORMS OF RELIEF. OTHER RIGHTS THAT ENTRANT OR THE TEAM MEMBER SWEEPSTAKES SPONSOR WOULD HAVE IN COURT ALSO MAY NOT BE AVAILABLE IN ARBITRATION. If any provision of this Section is found to be invalid or unenforceable, then that specific provision shall be of no force and effect and shall be severed, but the remainder of this Section will continue in full force and effect. This Section of these Official Rules will survive the termination of your relationship with the Team Member Sweepstakes Sponsor. This Team Member Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW. Without limiting the foregoing, everything regarding this Team Member Sweepstakes, including any prize components, are provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. Some jurisdictions may not allow the limitations or exclusions of liability for incidental or consequential damages or exclusions of implied warranties, so some of the above limitations or exclusions may not apply.
