EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Thank you for attending our first
Tastes & Sounds event (1st of many).
The late MP Gord Brown brought
this idea to me in 2017 and we have
made it come to life. I hope he would
be proud.
Most of all, the funds generated
by this event will help go towards
our annual target for 2018. It is
a challenging year but thanks to
folks like you, we will make it happen. Your generosity will
help make a lasting impact on those in most need in our
community.
You have really shown your local love and we hope you enjoy
our wonderful garden party!

COMMITTEE CHAIR & WARDEN
Welcome to Tastes & Sounds –
Senses-ational Leeds & Grenville.
This is an event that was very close
to the late MP Gord Brown’s heart.
The committee, which includes MPP
Steve Clark, Deanna Clark (UCLG),
Sean Lucey (Windmill Brewery),
Laura Bradley & Nathan Heuvel
(Kings Lock Craft Distillery),
Kelly McKinnon (Shell Canada),
Shannon Brown (UCLG), Judi Baril, and Trish Buote (UWLG)
and myself have worked hard to fulfil Gord’s vision.
Tastes & Sounds, a mixture of culinary creations and
delicious beverages, live entertainment, takes place in the
beautiful Picnic Pavilion at Windmill Brewery and King’s
Lock Craft Distillery. It is sure to be a highlight of the year.

Amazing laundry hamper of goods, generously donated by
Procter & Gamble. It contains hundreds of dollars of items,
we all use and love, including cleaning and laundry products,
personal hygiene products for both men and women, a variety
of beauty products and so much more.

This beautiful Alcohol Ink on Terraskin framed painting
measuring 21 x 25 inches. This vibrant piece entitled
“Turbulence” is generously donated by Lynne Bowker, one of
the Artful Trio.

A very exciting, one-of-a-kind “Kegerator” produced especially
for this event, and generously donated by the Windmill Brewery.
The fridge door is made from authentic Marshall amplifier parts
and topped with a gold draft tower to go along with the brass on the
knob plate. Spruce up your entertainment area with this one-of-
kind piece that will make you the envy of your family and friends.

An amazing Edmonton Oiler’s Jersey uniquely signed by
Number 99 the Great One, Wayne Gretzky, and professionally
framed by our friends at Hang Ups Creative Picture Framing.
This piece was generously donated by the late MP Gord Brown,
a prized possession from his private collection. Our event today
was spearheaded by the late MP Gord Brown, a supporter of the
United Way for 20 years. We all know that he loved hockey and
donating such a prized possession, to the United Way, made it
clear that he also loved his community.
