RIDERS’ NOTES 2021 POWERED BY THANK YOU for entering Tour O The Borders, powered by Pirelli 2021! We have a fabulous day on the bike ready for you but for now please take a few minutes to read these notes - they should contain everything you need to know for the weekend. Most importantly, remember this is a fun and friendly event – even though it will be a challenging day out for many. Give it your best, and above all, have fun and enjoy the ride! Good luck – we’ll see you in Peebles. RIDERS’ NOTES 2021 POWERED BY BEFORE THE EVENT Because of Covid, we’re running things slightly differently this time. We want to minimise the length of time people are together in groups, so we’re streamlining the start and registration arrangements. YOU’LL BE GIVEN: • Wave Number • Start Time • Pre-start Assembly Time • Registration Time* (on Saturday, for riders who didn’t opt for a postal pack) Riders with postal packs already have their Start, Wave and Assembly times as these were included in their pack. Please don’t lose this info – it’s important for a smooth and safe event. *Registration Time: This is for non-postal pack entries only. It’s a guide to when we’d like you to come to Tweed Green in Peebles on Saturday 4th (the day before the Tour) to pick up your pack. The aim is to encourage a smooth stream of riders registering throughout the day – in order to minimise queues and larger groups of people together. If you can’t make these times it’s OK, but if you can, please do! Their experienced team will be providing a massage therapy service at the event village on Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th September.
