SUMMER TRAINING
2022
Cadet Training Centre (CTC) Summer Courses 2022 Cadet Summer Training 2022 will be offered in-person! Common Courses are open to all elements. The additional three categories are listed by element for training geared to Sea, Army and Air Cadets. DELIVERY METHODS • Hybrid: A course that is composed of a virtual training component and an in- house training component. • You must have a Cadet365 account to participate in virtual training. • In-person: Training will be completed in-person at one of the Cadet Training Centres with no virtual component.
PLANNED CTC LOCATIONS The 2022 planned CTCs are dispersed across the country, generally located within Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) facilities, which supports our flexible programming and meets our requirements for 2022 and the near-term future. This summer we plan to operate 12 centralized CTCs which embody the tri- service reality of the Cadet Program. Each CTC is attended by cadets representing all three elements. The name of the CTC refers to the centralized location of cadet accommodations and administrative support, but we may also use nearby community facilities for specific activities where appropriate.
AIR RIFLE MARKSMANSHIP
INSTRUCTOR COURSE (ARMI)
The Air Rifle Marksmanship Instructor Course
provides cadets an opportunity to further
personal marksmanship knowledge and
skills, and develop as a specialist with the
skills and subject matter knowledge to
perform the duties of an Air Rifle
Marksmanship Instructor. Activities include
marksmanship techniques, instructional
techniques, and coaching. Cadets
attending this course will also have an
opportunity to progress in their
marksmanship level qualification.

advanced drill, instructional techniques
and leadership in the conducting of
parades and ceremonies.

COURSE (FSI)
The Fitness and Sports Instructor Course provides cadets
an opportunity to further personal fitness and healthy
living knowledge and skills, and develop as a specialist
with the skills and subject matter knowledge to perform
the duties of a Fitness and Sports Instructor. Activities
include personal fitness, healthy living, conducting the
Cadet Fitness Assessment, and leading physical
activities. Cadets attending this course will also have an
opportunity to progress in their Cadet Fitness Assessment

Activities include music training and band activities such as music theory, music technique, band drill, leadership and performing ensemble music. Cadets attending this course will also have the opportunity to progress in their music proficiency level qualifications.

****Les cours d'essai sont mis à jour en permanence, alignés sur les besoins et
l'intérêt des jeunes, et offrent une variété de possibilités d'apprentissage,
certaines avec des certifications et des qualifications. Les essais réussis seront
intégrés aux offres de formation d'été afin de remplacer les programmes

Activities include managing clothing and equipment, corps/squadron administration, and written communications.
