Welcome Campers! Welcome to summer camp 2021! We are so excited to explore the outdoors, take a hike and make a s’more around the campfire this season. While our camps may still look a little different than in years past, we are keeping our girls’ safety at top of mind. From limited capacity with the ability to social distance to a “Camp in a Box” at-home option, we are doing our best to keep everyone safe while offering a summer option that meets your family at their current comfort level. The following pages are filled with opportunities to spend a day at camp, cook over a fire, swim in the pool and attend Girl Scout Day Camp! We invite you to explore the possibilities and look forward to spending our summer days with you. See you around the campfire! Tiered Pricing We believe every girl, regardless of financial circumstances, should have the opportunity to experience camp. While the cost to maintain camp continues to rise, we understand families have differing abilities to meet summer camp costs. For this reason, we use tiered pricing. Tier One closely reflects the full cost of camp, including staff expenses, property maintenance, food and program supplies. Tier Two is a partially subsidized cost of camp, for families that can pay a little more, but not the full cost of camp. Tier Three is heavily subsidized through participation in product programs, special events, donations and grants. Choose the tier that works best for you and your family. Visit www.gsoh.org/camp for information on financial assistance and camp policies. All campers will have the same experience regardless of the tier chosen, and camp staff will have no knowledge of which tier their campers have selected. 7

Junior Instructor & Lifeguard Job Opportunities In addition to the leadership opportunities at day camp, we’re looking for Ambassador aged girls to work at Camp Molly Lauman as well as our other properties this summer. Junior Instructor positions are for girls interested in working with younger girls and building their leadership experience in addition to gaining real work experience while getting paid a small stipend! Girls must attend a weekend overnight training as well as commit to working a minimum number of weekday and weekend programs. Lodging and meals will be provided free of charge during your time at camp for overnight opportunities. Email camp@gsoh.org for full job descriptions and information about the application process. See page 5 for program dates. Volunteer Opportunities Spend your summer guiding campers through the great outdoors. Encourage curiosity, inspire adventurers and be a role model for girls by volunteering at day camp! We rely on dedicated volunteers to help us deliver eight successful, fun-filled weeks of day camp each summer. The number of girls accepted for camp depends on the number of adult volunteers. Grab your friends and sign up to give girls a summer full of outdoor adventure. Being a day camp volunteer is awesome! There are great benefits to being a day camp volunteer: • Experience the satisfaction of helping girls learn and have fun outdoors. • Spend your summer making lifelong friends and memories. • Guarantee placement in the day camp of your choice. • Receive a credit up to $75 for one girl relative who is a currently registered Girl Scout to attend a GSOH day camp. Most camps provide separate programs for the preschoolers and boys (grades K-5) of volunteers for a minimal cost. How to Become a Day Camp volunteer Review “What Does It Mean to be a Day Camp Volunteer?” and complete a Day Camp Volunteer Request Form at gsoh.org/daycamp. 10
