Middleton News Summer 2021 Rampion 2 &Neighbourhood Development Plan Update Rampion 2 & Neighbourhood Development Plan UPDATE The Parish Council have two very important decisions to make over the coming months that will require careful considerationand the impact of those decisions on our local community. Rampion 2 to Parish Councillors. Summer 2021 Middleton News Parish Council Annual Meeting Parish Council Annual Meeting At the above meeting held on the 19th May 2021 Parish Councillors elected a Chairman and Vice Chairman for the year 2021/2022. Parish Councillors were also requested to advise which parish council sub-committees and other committees that they would like to be part of. The following is a list of the Parish Councillors (c) General Purposes Committee – Councillors elected: Mrs Johnson, Mrs Mills, Jones & Ball. ELECTION OF THE CHAIRMAN OF THE (d) Parish Land & Property Committee – COUNCIL - Nominations for the position of Chairman Councillors Mrs Haywood, Mrs Johnson, Newton, were requested. Councillor Mrs Haywood was proposed Mrs Pendleton & Mrs Mills. by Councillor Mansfield and seconded by Councillor Mrs (e) Playing Fields Executive – Councillors Mrs Mills. There being no further nominations Councillor Haywood, Mrs Johnson, Newton, Mrs Pendleton Mrs Haywood was duly elected Chairman. & Mrs Mills ELECTION OF A VICE CHAIRMAN - Nominations (f) Parish Tree & Ditch Warden – Councillor were requested for the position of Vice Chairman. Middleton News Summer 2021 M-O-S Parish Council - Chairman’s Report 2020/2021 MIDDLETON - ON - SEA PARISH COUNCIL Chairman’s Report for the Parish Council Year 2020/2021 This is my eighth report as Chairman of Middleton-on-sea Parish Council and this year I would like to say “THANK YOU” to all the residents of Middleton and Elmer for the way they each personally dealt with the lockdowns enforced on the community by the Covid 19 pandemic. Through each of your personal sacrifices in the consideration of others by not going out unless absolutely necessary and by wearing a mask and maintaining social distancing - this all greatly helped to ensure that Middleton and Elmer residents were protected as much as possible from catching this virus. Secondly, I would like to say thank you to all the shops who restrictions are fully lifted. were able to stay open. It appears that human food is being laid down the field.
