Ingredients
3 Granny Smith apples
1 C. jarred caramel
SAMOA 1 C. coconut flakes
1/2 C. semisweet chocolate chips
APPLE 3 Tbsp. butter
SLICES Instructions
1. Slice apples into 1/4"-thick slices. Use a small biscuit cutter or melon
baller to remove the core from the apples. Set aside.
2. In a medium-sized bowl, add caramel and coconut flakes, stirring to
combine. Spoon caramel-coconut mixture onto each apple slice.
3. In a small microwave-safe bowl, combine chocolate chips and butter.
Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until fully
melted. Drizzle melted chocolate on apple slices and serve.
This craft is great for decorating your own area or to give as a gift.
You may need an adult to help.
Supplies:
Square hunk o’ wood (ours is 4”x4” pine)
String
Heart (or any shape!) drawn on piece of paper with dots of sharpie around it
Nails with a head (about 3/4” long)
Hammer STRING
1. Start by laying the paper on the wood, and taping it on the top and ART
bottom to hold it in place.
2. Poke a nail into one of the dots, and tap it with the hammer; do your
best to keep the nail straight up and down. You want to nail it in
enough that it’s no longer wiggly, but not so far that there’s not
enough room to easily wrap string around.

3. Once the nails are all sturdy, tear off the paper!
4. Finally, time for the string! Tie the end of the string to one nail and give
it a good double knot. Then start wrapping at random!
5. When it feels like you have the perfect amount of string, tie off the end
around one of the nails.

Savings challenge
Whether you want a new video game, to give a donation to your favorite
charity, or begin saving for that new car one day, now is the time to start.
Here are a few ideas to save even faster:
1. Have a clear glass jar for each person in your family and then race to
see who can fill their jar the fastest. Once you have full jar, deposit it
into your savings account and start over.
2. Pick up every penny you see lying on the sidewalk. Believe it or not,
they add up fast. Before you know it you could be winning the fill

3. Ask your parents if you can earn some extra money by doing a chore
that’s not normally on your list. For example, maybe you can take on
vacuuming the living and bed rooms for an extra 50¢ a room.
4. If you get money for a gift, put at least half of it in your jar.
5. Try the “Penny Challenge.” You save one penny your first day, two
pennies the second day, three on the third and so on for 365 days.
That means you're saving the same amount you did the day before
but adding another penny to it. Do this as long as you can. And, if
you’re able to save for the entire year (even with some help from
your parents), you could end up with $667.95 in a year.

SUMMARY AND ENTRY PERIOD: “2018 Fall/Winter Red Apple Coloring” Contest (“Contest”) starts

ELIGIBILITY AND LIMITATIONS. Participants and winners must be U.S. residents under 12-years of
age or as determined by TBK Bank. Participants will be placed into categories dependent upon their
age (4 years and under; 5-7 years old; 8-10 years old; and 11-12 years old). Only one (1) prize per

remarriage(s), adoption, co-habitation or other family extension, and any other persons residing at

TBK Bank and are subject to change at any time. Prizes will be fulfilled by mail; prize will be mailed
via regular USPS mail only to such winner’s address in one (1) of the fifty (50) United States or the
District of Columbia in TBK Bank’s sole discretion. TBK Bank is not responsible for lost or stolen
items delivered by mail. If any prize, prize notification, or Contest-related communication is
rejected, faulty, or returned as undeliverable, or if a winner or potential winner fails to comply with
these Official Rules, the prize will be forfeited. TBK Bank is not obligated to pursue an alternate
winner for any prize for any reason, in which case a prize may be deemed unclaimed and TBK Bank
will have no further obligation with respect to that prize.
RELEASES, TAXES AND MISCELLANEOUS
Publicity; Privacy. By participating, all participants and winner(s) grant TBK Bank exclusive
permission to use their names, characters, photographs, voices, and likenesses in connection with
promotion of this and other contests and waive any claims to royalty, right, or remuneration or such
use. Minors (age 17 and under) require a guardian’s consent for TBK Bank to use their name,
character, photograph, voice, and likeness in connection with promotion of this and other contests.
Release. By participating in the Contest, each participant and winner waives any and all claims of
liability against TBK Bank, its affiliates, employees and agents, any Contest sponsors and their
respective employees and agents, for any personal injury or loss which may occur from the conduct
of, or participation in, the Contest, or from the use of any prize. In order to receive a prize,
participants must sign an official waiver form provided by TBK Bank. Minors (age 17 and under)

Taxes. Any valuation of the prize(s) stated above is based on available information provided to TBK

by law. Each winner is solely responsible for reporting and paying any and all applicable taxes. Each
winner must provide TBK Bank, if requested, with valid identification and a valid taxpayer
identification number or social security number before any prize will be awarded. Prizes are not
transferable, redeemable for cash or exchangeable for any other prize. Any person winning over
$10.00 in prizes from TBK Bank will receive an IRS form 1099 at the end of the calendar year and a
copy of such form will be filed with the IRS.
Decisions. By participating in the Contest, participants agree to be bound by the decisions of TBK
Bank personnel. TBK Bank reserves the right to disqualify any participant or winner and may refuse
to award any prize to a person who is ineligible or has violated any rule, gained unfair advantage in
participating in the Contest, or obtained winner status using fraudulent means. TBK Bank will
interpret these rules and resolve any disputes, conflicting claims or ambiguities concerning the rules
or the Contest and TBK Bank's decisions concerning such disputes shall be final. If the conduct or
outcome of the Contest is affected by human error, any mechanical, technical, electronic,
communications, telephone, computer, hardware or software errors, malfunctions or failures of any
kind, intentional interference or any event beyond the control of TBK Bank, TBK Bank reserves the
right to terminate this Contest, or make such other decisions regarding the outcome TBK Bank
