TRELLIS & SUN SHELTER RENTALS
Enjoy a picnic or party at the beach! Reserve a sun shelter or the trellis for
a private space to enjoy with friends and family.
Alcohol insurance is required for ALL rentals serving alcoholic beverages
and must be arranged no later than seven days in advance by the host of
the party. Additional information on the Alcohol Insurance application may
be requested by contacting our Recreation Assistant at (847) 835-3030.
The Trellis
The Trellis is available for group parties from Memorial Day weekend
through mid-October, seven days a week from 5-10 PM. To make a
reservation, please call (847) 835-3030. All advance reservations must be
paid for at the time of booking. Temporary holds are not accepted for any
reason.
In the event of severe weather, the renter will be given the option of using
Watts Center Recreation Room. Refunds will not be issued if requested less
than seven days prior to rental date. Grill rental is a separate $75 fee and
will be charged at the time of the reservation. Charcoal is NOT included. The SUN SHELTER & TRELLIS RENTALS R/NR Fee

strengthening and restorative yoga postures on the board. Work on your
balance and core strength as you float on Lake Michigan. No prior paddling
or yoga experience is required. Basic paddling techniques will be covered
and options for yoga postures will be provided. We start with a short yoga
sequence on land to practice in the water. All levels are welcome. Drop-ins
allowed based on availability ($40 drop-in fee). Life jackets are provided.

Children’s Circle Full Day Preschool combines full-day flexibility and high-quality teaching to create a preschool
program geared to the diverse needs of busy families. We serve families with children 6 weeks old up to
kindergarten. A day at Children’s Circle reflects our philosophy that children learn best through meaningful
interactions with the world around them in a secure environment. Learning is an active process, whether it
happens during a teacher-guided group experience or during free choice play. Our program is licensed by the
State of Illinois, meeting state standards for health, safety, and staff training.
YEAR-ROUND SCHOOL
Children’s Circle Full Day Preschool opens at 7 AM and closes at 6:30 PM, with enrollment options that range from two to five days per week. Because
Children’s Circle Full Day offers classes 50 weeks a year, you may register at any time. Children’s Circle is closed for one week in August and one week
in December, as well as on major holidays.

The Children’s Circle curriculum supports these developmental milestones by providing opportunities for children to develop their own interests and pursue

snacks, play organized games, and embark on learning adventures at Watts Center. Participants from West and Central schools can also register for shuttle
bus service to the Park District; South School students will be walked to Watts. Included in your monthly Kids Club fee, we will transport participants to
and from after school enrichments at West School and the Takiff Center.
KIDS CLUB BUS
The Park District is now offering a registered morning and afternoon bus service from West and Central schools to Kids Club on days your child is registered.
Kids Club teachers will escort students by foot between Kids Club and South School, so students in grades K-2 do not need to register for the Kids Club
Bus. Limited bus spaces are available. Bus fee includes bus service five days per week for the 2020-21 school year.
REGISTRATION
Registration for the 2020-21 school year starts August 5. To reserve a place for the 2020-21 school year, there is a $125 non-refundable, non-transferable
registration fee per child. Tuition will be assessed monthly beginning September 1, 2020; you can sign up for a monthly auto-charge. Online registration is
unavailable; to register, please fill out a Kids Club registration form (available at the Takiff Center or download the form online). You must register by fax or
in person at least 5 business days prior to the upcoming month.
Prorating and refunds are not available. Spots in this program cannot be held for those who wish to skip Kids Club for a month. Those participants must
dis-enroll and re-enroll as space permits. The $125 registration fee will only be charged once per school year.
LAST MINUTE CARE
With Last Minute Care, we’ve got you covered! Last Minute Care includes AM/PM Kids Club and one day
shuttle bus service.

Are you new to Glencoe? Looking to meet your neighbors while introducing your little one to friends? Join
us each week to meet your neighbors, play at nearby parks, and introduce your little one to a classroom
environment. Toddlers and parents/caregivers are invited to join us on a journey through Glencoe. Spend
quality time with your baby bear as they enjoy stories, songs, and sunshine with their first friends. Each
week, we will have one class at a playground in Glencoe and one class in an Early Childhood classroom
in the Takiff Center.
