4. Eligibility Requirements for Application Type Eligibility Requirements 1. Applicants with foreign nationality whose parents both have foreign nationality - As of the application date, students and their parents should acquire foreign nationality Applicants with foreign - If the students and their parents have dual citizenship, they both should nationality whose parents both lose their Korean citizenship before the application date have foreign nationality 2. Academic background: Bachelor’s degree required for Master’s program admission (Those who can get Bachelor’s degree before the beginning of each semester) Applicants including Koreans 1. 6. Selection Procedure Evaluation: Document screening (interview if necessary) 7. HYU Korean Language Proficiency Standard Satisfying Korean standards is irrelevant to the admission.to MBA. Nonetheless, students who have passed the admission test but failed the Korean Language Proficiency Test must take leave of absence (maximum of 2 years) and take Korean language course at either the Hanyang University Institute of International Education or language institute of other universities. By satisfying Korean requirement of our university, students can re-register for upcoming school semester. Korean standard 1. Applicant who have TOPIK level 4 or higher 2. Applicant who completed Korean language course of Hanyang University level 5 and higher 3. Applicant who received bachelor’s or master’s degree from Korean university (excluding those who graduated majors 100% taught in a language other than Korean (English, Chinese, etc.)) 4. Applicant who submit a letter requesting test exemption from their academic supervisor at Hanyang University - Students applying for the English track of graduate school - Korean government-sponsored student (KGSP) and foreign government-sponsored students 8. Graduation Requirement a. Students must earn a minimum of 45 credits (15 courses) to graduate. b. Maximum of 24 credits earned in other graduate schools in Hanyang University or graduate schools overseas can be transferred to MBA program. - 9 -
9. Scholarships for International Students (Students are not allowed to receive a scholarship with other on-campus scholarships) A. A. Qualification: Students with valid TOPIK level certificate and Insurance who achieved a minimum GPA of 4.0 out of 4.5 in the previous semester B. Recipients are selected by documents screening. Recipients will receive 100%, 70%, 50% or 30% tuition reduction according to their evaluation results. C.
