Zeffirelli’s Divas: Our Exclusive
Photography Exhibition
In collaboration with the International Centre for the
Performing Arts in Florence, Hotel Savoy presents
a unique photography exhibition.
Through a selection of black and white photographs, the
“Zeffirelli’s Divas” exhibit honours the most renowned
celebrities that the great Maestro worked with throughout
his illustrious career in cinema, theatre and opera, such as
Olivia Hussey, Cher, Judy Dench, Anna Magnani,
Claudia Cardinale, Fanny Ardant, Elizabeth Taylor,
Glenn Close and Maria Callas.
Guests looking to find out more about this
world-renowned photographer are welcome to visit the
museum at the International Centre for the Performing
Arts, where over 250 works by Zeffirelli, including set
designs, illustrations and costume sketches are on display.

Irene’s New Spring Menu
Hotel Savoy’s Irene has a new spring menu inspired
by Botticelli’s masterpiece Primavera, designed by
Fulvio Pierangelini and Chef Giovanni Cosmai.
With its mythological characters and riot of plants in
bloom, the painting represents the rebirth of life after
a long winter. Its bright spring colours will feature in
Irene’s dishes in the form of peas, broad beans, asparagus,
herbs such as saltwort and wild strawberries. The menu
will also showcase soft cheese such as Marzolino produced
on farms in Mugello Valley near Florence.
The dishes’ scents and flavours will allow you to take
a step back in time, to the memories of your childhood, to
light-heartedness, to liveliness. We celebrate these
emotions by bringing them to life at Hotel Savoy.

Donatello, The Renaissance: Exhibition
Palazzo Strozzi is hosting Donatello, The Renaissance
from Saturday 19th March to Sunday 31st July 2022, in
collaboration with Bargello National Museum.
This once-in-a-lifetime exhibition showcases sculptures,
paintings and drawings by the Renaissance master
Donatello, juxtaposing his work with masterpieces by other
artists such as Raphael and Michelangelo.
