SPRING 2022 CLASSES CLASS EXPECTATIONS, POLICIES, and COVID-19 At TMTO, our classes are similar to our rehearsals: professional, efficient, and FUN, with lots to learn! The following policies apply to all TMTO activities and help ensure that everyone involved has the best possible experience. COVID-19 policies for TMTO Classes will be announced closer to the first day of each class. TMTO will follow all COVID-related state mandates and guidance as they apply to TMTO as a Youth Theater Program, and students will be expected to adhere to any/all COVID policies put in place during this class session. We thank you in advance for your patience and understanding! CLASS BEHAVIOR AND EXPECTATIONS • Alcohol, drugs, smoking, and vaping are prohibited. Weapons are not allowed on TMTO premises. Violations will result in dismissal from the program. • Arrive on time for all class sessions. Each minute of each class is valuable. • Be respectful of your instructors and fellow classmates at all times. In order to learn, we must try new things and risk being vulnerable. Our classes are safe places to grow as artists! Disruptive and/or disrespectful behavior is grounds for dismissal from the class. We have a zero-tolerance policy for bullying of any kind. • Be mindful of others’ personal space, as well as our classroom space. Please clean up after yourself. • Be aware of your language and conversation topics, especially around our younger students. • Remain at the class location for the duration of your session, unless otherwise specified by the Instructor. • Bring a water bottle with you, as our water fountains are closed at this time. We do have a bottle filler which you may use while at TMTO. • While in class, please stay focused and keep talking to a minimum – we want you to have fun with your friends, but we also want to make good progress! You are expected to pay attention and follow the directions of the TMTO staff at all times. Cell phones must be turned off and put away during class. • Classes will not be open for parents to watch, unless otherwise specified by the Instructor. Thank you in advance for understanding. • Refunds will only be offered if the class must be canceled due to lack of registrants. Makeup classes will not be offered due to illness or emergencies. • Students will be expected to wear appropriate attire for class: close-toed shoes (no sandals, flip-flops, bare feet), clothes they can move in freely, etc. No bare midriffs or revealing clothing. • Doors to the TMTO building will be unlocked no more than 15 minutes before class starts, and doors will then remain locked until class is dismissed. Please be prompt in dropping off and picking up your student! • Additional policies and expectations may be distributed prior to the first class. 7 of 7
