Welcome to Southern Virginia University At New Student Orientation & iPad Deployment, you'll get a running start into the spring semester and learn what it means to be a Knight. Orientation is your time to check into housing, familiarize yourself with campus resources, and meet new friends. During iPad Deployment, you’ll receive your iPad Pro, Smart Keyboard, and Apple Pencil, which you’ll need for classes. All new students—incoming freshmen, transfer students, and students returning after more than 24 months—are required to attend New Student Orientation & iPad Deployment on January 11. We're excited to see you there! A Note from Student Life By Cameron Crowther, VP of Student Life Welcome to Southern Virginia University! We're thrilled with your decision to become a Knight. This is an incredible place, largely due to students like you who have chosen to gather from all across the world to learn in a welcoming, faith-supportive environment. Every student has a valuable role to play in the Southern Virginia family. We invite you to get involved and take full advantage of the next four years. As you strive to lift yourself and others to new heights, this will become like a second home where you'll prepare to launch into a successful life and career. Go Knights!
