Pavilion Center Pool Set to Reopen in Early
June, Following Phase 2 Safety Guidelines
Open and Lap Swim
Available To The Public
The city of Las Vegas is welcoming
residents and visitors back to the Pavil-
ion Pool, 101 S. Pavilion Center Drive, on
Friday, June 5. The facility will follow social
distancing and other safety guidelines
provided by the Governor’s Office.
Open swim will take place Monday
through Friday from noon to 4 p.m.
and 7:15 - 9:15 p.m., and Saturdays from
noon - 5 p.m. The pool is closed on
Sundays. Lap swimmers must call 702-
229-1488 to make a lane reservation.
Daily fees are $2 for ages 4-17 and
50 and older, and $3 for ages 18-49;
children three and under are free.
Locker rooms remain closed; all guests
should arrive in appropriate swimming
attire. Prior to being admitted into the facil-
ity, temperatures of guests will be checked.
The city is currently working on plans
for the reopening of other pools by June 15.

"Mobbed Up: The Fight for Las Vegas"
The 11-part series chronicles the rise and fall of
organized crime in Las Vegas through the voices
of those who lived it: ex-mobsters, law enforce-
ment officials, politicians and journalists.
The production was made possible by extensive collabora-
tion between the Las Vegas-Review Journal and downtown
Las Vegas' The Mob Museum. "Partnering with the Review-
Journal on this podcast series was a rewarding experience and
a welcome addition to The Mob Museum's focus on creating
enhanced online content during its temporary closure,'' said
Geoff Schumacher, Vice President of Exhibits and Programs
for The Mob Museum. "Our combined resources have yielded
a top-shelf production that yanks the veil off the dark history

The city of Las Vegas is welcoming back kids to Vegas Strong
Summer Academies on Monday, June 8. The academies will replace
traditional summer camp in order to provide a safe and structured
environment for kids. Each will provide age/grade appropriate
academic and recreational programming. Register online or by
calling 702-229-PLAY (7529). Space is limited due to social distanc-
ing and other safety guidelines provided by the Governor’s Office.
Vegas Strong Summer Academies will be Monday
through Friday, June 8 - Aug. 7, from 6:30 a.m. to 6
p.m. for ages 6-13 at the following locations:

The Lounge at El Dorado set to open late summer
El Dorado Cantina is excited to introduce the brand's
newest concept, The Lounge at El Dorado, set to
open summer/fall 2020 inside Tivoli Village.
The Lounge at El Dorado will occupy the former Hamp-
tons’ space and maintain the same hours of operation
as the neighboring El Dorado Cantina. The two estab-
lishments will share the courtyard and patio space.
The combined 5,393 square foot space will have a total of
nine booths between the first and second floors, which gives
