Irmgard Zierden In the case of many ailment patterns – such as involuntary childlessness, menopause symptoms, premenstrual syndrome and dysmenorrhoea – a holistic diagnosis alongside complementary medicine therapy concepts using e.g. orthomolecular substances and bioidentical hormones offer additional treatment options. In this presentation you will be shown some therapeutic options based on case studies that you can implement directly in your practice. MEN’S HEALTH TODAY – AND A LOOK AT THE FUTURE Prof. Dr Michael E. Eisenmenger Men’s health covers more than just the prostate alone. Naturally, urological and androlo- gical questions form the focus of men’s health, which, moreover, begins in the cradle. But there are numerous other diseases that primarily occur in or affect men (see androtro- pism). These include diseases of the cardiovascular system, carcinomas and metabolic syndrome, which can also have an impact on testosterone, to name but a few. Also, when it comes to suicide, young men from puberty onwards lead the field. It is important to combat this situation, as well as the associated shorter life expectancy for men, with in- formation and education. This presentation sheds light on the current situation of men’s health and offers a view of the future.
INDIVIDUAL SEXUAL HISTORY: THE BIO-PSYCHO-SOCIAL APPROACH Francesca Tripodi, PsyD, ECPS – This talk will be held in English An in-depth look into a patient‘s sexual history is crucial to correctly evaluate and diagno- se their sexual complaints and to support the treatment decision. This seminar will guide the participants through a multifactorial assessment of an individual‘s sexual function and satisfaction that comprises biological, cognitive, emotional, behavioural, context- ual and interpersonal factors as well as their ongoing interaction with each other. The bio-psycho-social approach, the gold standard of sexual medicine, provides the complex subject with a frame, including the latest state-of the-art references in the field of sexual medicine. Francesca Tripodi will single out the top-ten questions in a sexual interview, that can yield the necessary information for further inquiry.
