REGULATIONS 1. Gate Admission Charges: Adults $5, school children $2, under 5yrs free. 2. All entries must be made in the name of the bonafide owner or manufacturer of exhibits. 3. All entries must be made in writing on the regulation form supplied in the schedule together with the entry fees. Events in which exhibit is shown must be stated, and signed by exhibitor or person authorised. Name, sex, and registered number (if any) and Herd Identification of animals must be stated. 4. The receipts for entry money or tickets must be produced on demand to gatekeepers or exhibitor will not be admitted. 5. All persons admitted to the grounds shall be subject to the Rules and Orders of the Committee. 6. The Judges are empowered to withhold any prize if they are of the opinion that insufficient merit does not exist to justify an award. 7. No animals, implements etc. will be allowed on the grounds, excepting those entered by permission of the Stewards. All protests must be in writing, accompanied by a deposit of $10, and lodged with the Secretary within thirty minutes of the award being made. In the event of any protest, the entry or entries concerned must not be removed from the grounds without permission of the Chief Steward. The Committee will decide all protests and there will be no appeal from the decision. In the event of the protest not being upheld, the deposit shall be forfeited to the Society. 8. Should the receipts of the Society suffer severely owing to unforeseen circumstances the Committee reserves the right to reduce the prize money. 9. The Committee reserves the right to substitute donations in cash or trophies or produce in equal value in place of advertised prizes. 10. No person other than officials shall be allowed to ride or drive in the grounds, except when leaving or entering. 11. The Society will not be responsible for any accident in competitions or that may occur from machinery or other exhibits or plants belonging to exhibitors, competitors or the Society and it is a condition of entry that such exhibitor or visitor shall hold the Society blameless and indemnify it against any legal proceedings issuing from any accidents so caused. 12. That any person or organisation anticipating raffle sales on the grounds notifies the Secretary 30 days prior to the show, in writing. 13. That no person or animals shall cause damage to the grounds or trees. 14. No dogs allowed on the grounds unless on a leash. HORSE REGULATIONS ALL horses to enter through Crossley Street NOT Philip Walter Drive DEFINITION OF LOCAL: A person whose nearest show is Katikati or who is a financial member of the Katikati Branch of the Tauranga Pony Club or the Katikati Adult Riding Club, provided always that in the event of dual eligibility they must nominate which show they will class as local and enter only that show in the season, as local. Disqualification will be automatic if entered elsewhere. STALLIONS AND COLTS: Stallions or colts cannot compete at this show. HEIGHT CERTIFICATE: A current RAS height certificate must accompany you the rider in all classes where height is a climate of eligibility. Please take them with you. HELMETS: Helmets must be tagged. Tags available on show day. PROTESTS: All protests must be in writing, accompanied by a deposit of ten dollars ($10) and lodged with the Secretary within THIRTY MINUTES of the award being made. In the event of any protest, the entry or entries concerned must not be removed from the grounds without the permission of the Chief Steward. The committee will decide all protests and there will be no appeal relating to their decision. In the event of the protest not being upheld, the deposit shall be forfeited to the Society. Videos will not be permitted evidence during the Committee’s deliberations. CLEAN SPORT: The use of tranquillizers, stimulants, or any drugs capable of affecting the performance of horses and ponies is forbidden. Competitors are advised that tests for forbidden substances may be carried out during the show and that testing of all animals is at the owner’s risk. Testing for forbidden substances will be carried out under the Royal Agricultural Society Clean Sport Judicial Committee (CSJC) procedures and rules. YELLOW CARD: The Katikati A&P Show will be operating under the RAS Yellow Card System. Any abuse of animals or inappropriate behavior towards judges, officials, other competitors or the public may result in the president and officials issuing a Yellow Card and subsequent action via the RAS. HEALTH & SAFETY All entrants must comply with the Katikati A&P Society's Health and Safety policies. SEPARATE RINGS WILL OPERATE FOR HORSES AND PONIES SIMULTANEOUSLY. 5

Ponies to be led by a leader/attendance (14years and over) with the lead rein attached to the caveson noseband of a snaffle bridle. Ponies will be asked to walk and trot – no cantering under any circumstances. Running or bearing reins or similar tackle are not allowed. Eligibility: Open to photographers. Entered images and any pre-print adjustments made to them must be the sole work of the author. By submitting a photo, the entrant agrees to allow The Katikati A&P Society permission to use the image for the purposes of promoting the Katikati A&P Show for a period of 12 months. 2. The printed image may be produced by either the photographer, another photographer/person or a professional image printing firm. The printed image must be A4 [21.0 x 29.7cm]. The printed images may be either colour, black & white or monotone. 3. Printed image must be mounted on a plain white cardboard sheet cut to be 5cms larger [26.0 x 34.7cm] than the printed image. Mounting card may be either A2 School Board [0683], White Linen Board or White Smooth, obtainable from Katikati PaperPlus, Main Rd, Katikati and most other stationary stores. Absolutely no images will be accepted unless they are the correct size and mounted exactly as stated. 4. Entries printed at Katikopy & Print will receive a 10% discount upon stating they are for the 2019 A&P Photographic Competition. Katikopy is also able to supply suitable mounting paper. 5. All entries to be on official entry form. 6. All entries must have attached to the bottom right hand corner on the back of each mounted print an identifying label, available with entry form. 7. No entries will be accepted outside of those times. 9. All entries are judged by independent judge[s]. The decision of the judges is final. 10. All entries to be displayed on Show Day. 11. All entries must be removed after prize giving on Show Day, and must be picked up by 3.00pm, unless prior arrangements have been made with competition organiser[s] for an alternative time. Any photo entered must be taken on the day of the A & P SHOW, Sunday 3rd of February 2019 at the SHOW GROUNDS. 2. Eligibility: Open to amateur photographers - that is those not making their living from photography. Entered images and any pre-print adjustments made to them must be the sole work of the author. 3. Image Eligibility: Editing of photos is limited to the following. 1. Adjustments to exposure & contrast. 2. Cropping. 3. Removal of dust spots. 4. Adjustments to colour and sharpness. Absolutely no adding or removing of objects or major manipulation is permitted. 4. Entries to be uploaded to the Katikati A & P Society Group page. 5. One entry per person. 6. By submitting a photo, the entrant agrees to allow The Katikati A&P Society permission to use the image for the purposes of promoting the Katikati A&P Show for a period of 12 months. 7. By submitting the photo, the entrant declares that they have the permission of all individual(s) captured in the photo to share and publish their image. 8.
