This specifications document describes key features and functionalities of SAP SuccessFactors Time Tracking, as of the 1H 2021 Release. KEY FEATURES AND FUNCTIONALITIES Time Sheet Key Feature Description Allows employees to record their working time or any other attendance time. Ability to create customer-specific time types, Time Recording such as working time, administration, or travel time, to differentiate among various attendance types. Allowance Recording Ability to record and approve specific allowances Allows to complete, edit, and submit a time sheet via ESS Mobile Time Sheet scenarios in the SuccessFactors app for IOS® and Android® Ability to define flexible daily or weekly overtime calculation rules. Allows set up of overtime thresholds (for example, 10 hours per day), or sum of planned times per week. Allows the customer to Overtime Calculation choose which absence types shall be incorporated into the overtime calculation and which will not. Customers may define whether public holidays shall be incorporated or not. Allows for set up rules to generate pay types for base hours, paid absences, public holidays, and overtime hours. In addition, ability Pay Type Generation to define pay types for recorded times on a specific day (for example, Sunday, public holiday), within a specific clock time or generate shift premiums. Allows employees to record and allocate times to different cost centers. For all pay types that are generated based on this time Cost Center Allocation recording (base pay, overtime pay, and so on), a cost center split is performed. Allows to define that calculated overtime is not paid out but Time Off in lieu (TOiL) converted into additional time off. Ability to use working time accounts to record variations from an employee's standard working time and calculate the balance of time worked in excess of that time, or by how far the time worked Working Time Accounts falls short of the standard time. Both of these are calculated by comparing the time an employee actually works with his or her work schedule. 3
Key Feature Description Allows employees to record working hours which are balanced out over a flexible to define period. Employees can record hours within a certain work schedule bandwidth. Hours inside the bandwidth are Flextime considered working time. Hours outside of the bandwidth are considered violations and need to be manually validated by managers or time administrators. Allows to set up validations so that entries made in time sheets are Input Validations checked in the light of criteria the customer defines. Time collectors collect times over a certain period that differs from the period that is handled by a time valuation. Time valuations can only handle valuations within the time sheet. Time Collectors But sometimes times need to be collected over a bigger or different period. Time collectors collect times over such periods. Customers can also use time collectors to generate calculated results that can be used for other use cases such as accruals Approval workflows can be configured for time sheets. If an approval workflow is set up, approvers can approve or decline the time sheet. Also, auto approval scenarios are supported. And blended Workflows scenarios in which there is auto approval, unless there is a specific time type is recorded (overtime, or a specific premium for example). Lastly, there is the possibility to trigger a workflow dependent on a working time account value. For example, only when the working time account balance is below a certain value. Allows to get specific workflow approvals for certain time types, Time type approvals independent of the weekly time sheet approvals. Standard reports allow reporting on hours recorded, unapproved Reporting times, and generated pay types. Provides notifications templates so that employees who submit Notifications time sheets and approvers of time sheets receive specific email notifications. The ability to trigger alerts directly from our time evaluation to Alerts inform users about certain occurrences, such as exceeding an overtime limit. Importing External Time Data The ability to import time data form an external source so that data from external time recording systems is available in Time Sheet. Automated recalculations based on two triggers. Either Recalculations occurrences within the time sheet (such as amendments to historical time sheets), or on occurrences outside of the time sheet 4

Integration with Employee Central Payroll and SAP It is possible to integrate Payroll Time Sheet with Employee Central ERP HCM Payroll or SAP ERP HCM.
