Twelve endearing but larger-than-life elderly individuals, from different cultural, racial and socio-classes are pre-selected to participate in this challenge-based competition reality show that sees one of them ultimately become the Generation Gap winner. TELEVISION 11/ SABC CoNNECTA BACK TO SCHOOL: METRO FM HONOURS TEACHERS The 2021 Back to School season comes on the backdrop of a very difficult year for schools, in particular for teachers who had to teach during the coronavirus pandemic in order to save the academic year. To celebrate these heroes and heroines, Metro FM plans to recognise and reward teachers for their resilience during the pandemic and ingenuity in embracing new and safe ways to continue teaching under difficult circumstances.
