We have some great live music with highlights including Don Broco, The Skids and Spear of Destiny, Abba Forever, 2-Tone Tribute Tour and The World Famous Elvis Show. The Philharmonia Orchestra returns to the Corn Exchange for their 24th season in residence, along with local residencies from Bedford Choral Society and Bedford Sinfonia Orchestra, showcasing the value of classic and modern music. Comedy always features heavily on our calendar and this season is no different with acts including Jason Manford, Milton Jones, Iain Stirling, Chris Ramsey and Paul Chowdhry. Family entertainment is very important to us at Bedford Corn Exchange and this season we have Southside Wrestling, The Wizard of Oz and Wannabe – The Spice Girls Show. We constantly strive to ensure our programme of events is varied and appeals to all users of Bedford Corn Exchange and we welcome feedback and recommendations you have for future shows. Volunteer as an event steward, or alongside our bar and catering team – whichever you choose you’ll gain hands on experience in customer service, and will contribute towards making each event a success! Your tasks may include helping to set up before events and tidy up afterwards, assisting customers and showing them to their seats, stewarding during shows and serving food and drink. You’ll need to be available during evenings and at weekends. We have both short and long term opportunities and you can specify which days you are able to volunteer. No experience is necessary – full training will be provided. He will also be scaling the heights of fashion at the risk of falling into a terrible cravat. Milton will be talking about his life so far - the ups, the downs and why buying his own see-saw was the best decision he ever made.
