Welcome Situated within the five acres of landscaped gardens and overlooking Castle Beach, you will find the mews styled Manor Cottages located in a well maintained courtyard that offers immediate and free parking to those staying in the accommdation. Perfectly situated just five minutes’ walk from Falmouth town centre and a few strides away from beautiful Gyllyngvase Beach, all self-catering cottages offer our guests the flexibility of independence, combined with the benefits of complimentary use of the hotel’s wi-fi and superb restu- arant, leisure and spa facilities. Manor Cottages The cottages are light and airy and are decorated to a good standard throughout. There is a choice of 1, 2 or 3 bedrooms, with some cottages able to accommodate additional guests on a sofa bed. TV, fully equipped kitchens including oven, hob, microwave, fridge and washing machine are provided as standard. Smoking is not permitted in the cottages or the hotel. Those offering balconies with sea views are numbers 16, 17 & 18 and number 8 has sea views. We regret that pets are not permitted in any of the self-catering accommodation.
All Within Reach The Falmouth Hotel is a striking, Victorian chateau-style hotel which enjoys a prime sea front location, overlooking Falmouth Bay and Castle Beach. On one side is Pendennis Castle and the headland, on the other, views over to the famous port of Falmouth. We want you to make the most of your stay and make the most of everything we have to offer which is, quite literally, on your doorstep! The hotel has an indoor pool, gymnasium, Caudalie spa, sauna and hot tub and wonderful grounds where you can enjoy a relaxing drink or al fresco dining. For dining in style, book a table in the AA Rosette Castle Beach Restaurant which has magnificent views across the bay. Falmouth is an historic port town and is perfectly located for exploring the beautiful Cornish coast. A short drive away is the mystical far west of Cornwall, there are many local attractions including The National Maritime Museum, Flambards and Trebah Gardens. The famous Eden Project is just an hour away. Ask at the hotel reception for details on discounted tickets to attractions such as The Eden Project, Trebah Gardens and the National Maritime Museum. Famous for its beautiful beaches, Cornwall also offers a host of outdoor activi- ties, including boat trips, sailing, kayaking, fishing and diving, not to mention breath taking walks. The National Maritime Museum provides activities for children and the popular Flambards Theme Park, Gweek Seal Sanctuary and Trebah Gardens are all perfect for family days out - and within easy driving distance. The famous Eden Project runs a regular programme of events and is approximately 1 hour's drive away. Numerous events are held in the Falmouth area throughout the year including the Fal River Festival, The Oyster Festival, Fish Festival, The Sea Shanty Weekend, The Classics and many more.
Housekeeping Arrival & Departure Times Our check-in time is from 3pm and check-out is 11am, however if you wish to extend your check-out time, please arrange at the time of booking or through reception during your stay. The charge is £10 for every extended hour up to 2pm latest. Provisions Included For the duration of your stay we provide; Towels per person: 1 x bath sheet, 1 x hand towel, 1 x bath mat Toiletries: 2 x shower gel, 1 x shampoo, 2 x soap, 2 x toilet paper sanitary bags Kitchen: 1 x tea towel, 1 x J-cloth, 1 x washing up liquid, 1 x sponge scourer, 1 x oven glove, 6 x tea, 6 x coffee, 10 x white sugar, 6/8 x milk If you require additional supplies, you can purchase these at any time through reception. Linens & Cleaning Linen is provided and changed once every 7 days during your stay, waste bins are emptied daily and we carry out a thorough clean once a week. If required, a more frequent service can be arranged, for a small charge. Deposit, Payment Terms & Cancellation Policy Bookings can only be accepted with the payment of a £100 non-refundable, non-transferable deposit. The full balance is payable 4 weeks prior to the arrival date. If the booking is made less than 4 weeks before arrival, full payment will be required at that time. In the event of cancellation when less than 28 days remain until your arrival, the full cost of your stay will be retained/taken. We recommend that guests consider taking out external insurance cover in case of possible cancellation. Pre-authorisation of your credit or debit card will be taken on arrival.
Guest Obligations The guests hereby agree to; • Pay all additional charges not included in the pre-payment. • Pay for any losses, breakages or damages. • Take good care of the property and leave it in a clean and tidy condition at the end of the stay. If the property requires an additional clean following departure, a charge of £100 will be made. • Permit the agents reasonable access to the property. • Not to part with any contents of the property or share the property, except with the number in the party agreed to at the time of booking. • Respect guests and visitors in neighbouring properties and not to make excessive noise or cause a nuisance to others. Liability The agent and owners will not be liable to the client and/or persons in any event of death or injury to persons, or disease or loss or damage to property unless negligence can be proved, but otherwise will be under no liability to them whatsoever. The client hereby undertakes to indemnify the agent for any damage to the premises or property whether or not owned by the hotel, caused by the actions or activities of any person staying at the apartment, cottage or hotel or a guest of anyone using the hotel. The organiser shall ensure that the client or attendees and guests of the client shall observe a high standard of behaviour at all times and the agent reserves the right to expel or remove any guest or attendee behaving in a manner which it regards, at its own discretion, as detrimental to the standing of the hotel or likely to cause inconvenience or annoyance to any other hotel guest or user. In the event of such actions by the hotel, the hotel shall not be obliged to pay any compensation or make any refunds to the client.

Welcome Pack Our welcome packs, at just £20, are designed to help you have a smooth and enjoyable start to your holiday by ensuring you have all you need from night one. They are especially helpful if you anticipate arriving late. They include: • A loaf of bread • 6 eggs • A jar of jam • 1 litre of orange juice • 1 pack of cereals • 1.5 litres of water • 1 litre of milk (full fat or semi-skimmed) • 1 pack of butter (or margarine, if preferred) • 1 pack of bacon No holiday in the South West is complete without a Cornish cream tea and, although we say so ourselves, The Falmouth Hotel’s cream tea is a little bit special! For an additional £8 you can have 6 home-made scones, Cornish clotted cream and some home-made strawberry preserve delivered to your door in time for your arrival. General The Falmouth Hotel acts as agents for all the privately owned self-catering accommodation. Each cottage is subject to a minimum booking of 3 nights. Our terms and rates may alter at any time and without warning however confirmed bookings will, of course, be honoured. No allowance can be made for temporary absence, late arrival or early departure.
