Many aspire to own a new Riviera. Many of us also aspire to spend time in the Whitsundays. Here is a practical
and economical solution where you can have the best of both. Riviera Syndication have designed an efficient
method of providing syndicated owners with four weeks per year onboard their new Riviera 45 Open Flybridge
cruiser every year for the three year life of the program, including a permanent berth at Hamilton Island.

The Whitsunday Group of Islands are amongst the most pristine and desirable cruising grounds in the world.
Boaties marvel at the colour of the water, the spectacular scenery, the fishing and diving on the Great Barrier
Reef and the sheer beauty of the entire area. Access to these spectacular waters is via a flight from most major
cities to Hamilton Island and then a five minute transfer to your fully prepared Riviera 45 Open Flybridge.
Your Riviera 45 Flybridge has a permanent berth (with the exception of Race Week) within the Hamilton Island
Marina allowing owners to come and go as they please or as weather conditions dictate. Life on Hamilton Island
from the comfort of your Riviera is a very pleasant experience with full resort facilities, including shopping,
restaurants, galleries and so much more. Hamilton Island offers every convenience you could wish for.
RIVIERA 45 OPEN FLYBRIDGE Riviera’s new model 45 Open Flybridge is the perfect choice between spacious accommodation and ease of handling for our owners. The Riviera 45 Open Flybridge boasts three generous cabins plus fold down bedding to accommodate two families or one large family in comfort. It is optioned for comfort, safety and ease of handling. The inclusion of bow and stern thrusters allows precision manoeuvring while berthing and the fully air-conditioned interior provides a comfortable climate in all conditions. Upon arrival your Riviera is presented to you in a standard similar to a 5 star hotel. Your bath ware, bedding and beach towel packages are onboard along with any pre requested catering requirements. Following a personalized training program you are free to skipper yourself or take advantage of our skipper hire service for a relaxed orientation of these magnificent cruising grounds. Riviera Syndication is about service, convenience and value for our clientele. Owners in our fully
optioned Riviera 45 Open Flybridge are allocated four weeks each year onboard their boat via a
negotiated bidding sytem.
One day each week and one week every three months is allocated for maintenance and detailing, ensuring
your boat remains in peak condition at all times .Bookings can be made in blocks of one to four weeks
with popular times like Easter, Christmas and school holidays being shared evenly.
At the expiration of three years the vessel is offered for sale , firstly to Syndicate members then to the
open market with the proceeds of the sale divided equally between the owners. These funds can be used
toward the purchase of a share in a new boat or credited to each owners account.

Riviera 45 Open Flybridge
FEATURES, COSTS AND EXPRESSION OF INTEREST
FEATURES: Our second Riviera 45 Open Flybridge is being prepared with many options to suit
extended cruising in the Whitsunday’s and also to provide owners with safe a luxurious boat. We
have listed below the main items and their benefits:
• ENGINES: Upgraded to twin Caterpillar 715Hp diesel shaft drives with electronic controls for
smooth operation and fresh water cooling to reduce corrosion.
• GENERATOR: Providing 240 Volt power throughout and two battery chargers. Includes
freshwater cooling and a sound shield for quiet operation.
• INVERTOR: For silent power to the TV/DVD while at anchor.
• AIR CONDITIONING: Reverse cycle air-conditioning for comfortable day / overnighting in all
conditions.
• BOW AND STERN THRUSTERS: For ease of berthing in all conditions.
• SHOWERS & TOILET: Three hot and cold showers (bathroom and duckboard) and a vacuflush
toilet system minimising the risk of blockage and odours.
• LONG RANGE FUEL TANK: An additional 1000Ltr fuel Tank has been installed increasing
capacity to a total of 3300 litres.
• TV / DVD: Flat screens are fitted in the saloon, the master stateroom and the port stateroom so
the kids have their space and the parents have theirs.
• SLEEPING ACCOMMODATION: Eight berths are provided for overnight, weekend or weeks away.
The master stateroom has a queen bed with inner spring mattress; the starboard state room has
an upper and lower berth. The port stateroom has twin berths that convert into a double berth
if required and the pull out saloon bed converts into a large double.
• DINGHY OUTBOARD AND FOREDECK DAVIT: A inflatable dinghy, with 15 hp outboard and
electric davit system is provided on the foredeck for safety and convenience.• FLYBRIDGE ACCESS: A fully moulded staircase to the flybridge has been incorporated for convenience and safety. • GPS NAVIGATION, FISHFINDER & AUTOPILOT: A colour Raymarine C120 GPS and Fishfinder and Autopilot with extensive maps is provided to assist with safe navigation. Instruction is provided on the many features and benefits including plotting courses, fish finding and anchor drift alarm. • WASHER/DRYER: A Miele combination washer / dryer is provided keeping luggage to a minimum. • GALLEY: A well appointed galley with every feature required including a refrigerator and freezer draws, dishwasher, convection microwave oven and cook top. A full complement of Riviera cutlery, crockery, glasses and galley utensils is provided. • DESALINATOR: Providing a plentiful supply of fresh water for extended cruising. • BBQ: Essential for any Whitsunday holiday. • ELECTRIC ANCHOR WINCH: Up and down operation from the flybridge with chain counter for accurate calculation of chain out ensuring safe anchoring. • FLYBRIDGE HARDTOP, CLEARS & REFRIDGERATOR: The flybridge has been designed for comfort and convenience and can be completely enclosed for warmth and protection. A refrigeration and carpet has also been added and the table converts to a day bed or extra accommodation. • REAR AWNING: Three quarter for shade in the cockpit. • SOFT FURNISHINGS PACKAGES: Each time you step aboard, fresh towels and fitted bed linen are supplied for your convenience. • MOORING LINES: Permanent mooring lines are spliced onto the marina berth for easy berthing every time. • CONVERTIBLE DOUBLE BERTH IN THE FLYBRIDGE: For when you need an extra bed or for the skipper that stays onboard overnight. • CUSTOM DOUBLE BED: The double bed in the forward cabin has been upgraded to the largest possible size for you. • REMOTE DOCKING CONTROLLER: Designed to take the stress out of berthing your boat. This accessory allows you to stand at the rear of the boat in the cockpit and manoeuvre your boat easily into the tightest marina berth with ease every time.. • SAFETY: Nothing is overlooked when it comes to safety. Quality adults and children’s life jackets, latest model registered EPIRB for advising authorities of your location in the event of an emergency, watertight bulkhead forward, VHF radio, safety monitoring panel and fire suppression system in the engine room is all included. For owners convenience we have also included wet weather gear, first aid kit, binoculars and a set of navigation charts and books. • TRAINING, BOAT HANDLING & NAVIGATION: Each owner is independently trained in all aspects of the use of their boat over a three day period. Day one is for boat familiarization and manoeuvring in marinas. Day two is a full days boating, exploring the local waterways and learning boat handling, anchoring, local knowledge and navigation. Day three is for you to practice what you have been taught on days one and two. If you require further tuition or a skipper for your next journey, we can arrange that for you. • COMMISSIONING: All Riviera cruisers are sea trialled prior to factory delivery to ensure they are performing to manufacturers specifications. Riviera Syndication takes care of the finer details of delivery and ensures that your vessel is customer ready. This includes a complete detail inside and out, full fuel tank, stocking the galley and bathroom, providing fresh Riviera towels and linen plus the detailed touches that will become familiar to you as a Riviera Syndication owner.
COSTS: Our costs have been calculated to be competitive in our market place and to provide our owners with an exceptional boating experience. The purchase price of a share gives you equity in the boat. When your boat or your share is sold your equity is realised. The annual costs are paid monthly in advance by direct debit. PURCHASE PRICE: A one twelfth share in your Riviera 45 Open Flybridge including all options listed and training, costs $112,000. ANNUAL COSTS: The annual cost per owner of your Riviera 45 Open Flybridge is $13,900 per annum payable $1,158 per month, in advance, by direct debit. THE ANNUAL COSTS PROVIDE FOR THE FOLLOWING: • Cleaning of interior and exterior after each use. • Weekly maintenance checks including fluid levels, battery condition, minor repairs as required. • Replenishing supplies including fresh towels and linen, cleaning products, tea & coffee. • On call Riviera Syndication maintenance personnel. • Full comprehensive insurance including individual owner indemnity with Club Marine Insurance. • Permanent marina berth at Hamilton Island Marina. (Excluding Hamilton Island race Week in August each year) • Engine and generator servicing as required. • Antifouling of boat as required. • Professional detailing of boat twice annually including dry-cleaning of bedding and full carpet clean. • Boat registration. • Total care of your boat and your syndicate to ensure each owner receives our personal attention including invitations to Riviera Syndication events and information bulletins.

EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FORM
Our Expression of Interest Form provides you with the opportunity to fully explore the option of
buying a share in our Riviera 45 Open Flybridge at Hamilton Island Marina. Your initial deposit is
fully refundable in the event that you do not proceed.

I hereby tender my initial deposit of $2,000 expressing my interest to purchase a share in the
above boat at the above location. RIVIERA SYNDICATION ownership is by invitation and owners
must display that they are responsible people with the ability and desire to treat the boat and their
co owners with respect. Upon receipt of this expression of interest and deposit, RIVIERA
SYNDICATION will send to you appropriate documentation relating to the ownership regime and
operating systems for your approval. Your initial deposit is fully refundable in the event that you
are not happy with the documentation within 14 days or if RIVIERA SYNDICATION cannot put a
satisfactory syndicate together within six months of this agreement
Upon notice that your boat has been ordered, and an approximate delivery date confirmed, a
further deposit is payable followed by a further deposit upon joining of hull and deck with the
balance of purchase monies payable upon notification by RIVIERA that your vessel is complete.
