Colour can tell you a lot about a
work of art. Bright colours can
make you feel happy while darker
colours can make you feel glum.
There are also specific colours
that remind us of different

Ridgeway Rise July 2021 Trip It’s all about outdoors and making the best of the longer summer days. Our residents ventured to Cirencester to visit Dobbie's Garden Centre to buy some garden necessitates.

Busy Afternoons in the Garden
As the weather started to improve we decided to give our garden a
little makeover. New flower pots, new plants and a new coat of paint
for our garden furniture.
Ridgeway Rise July 2021 Outdoors Once the garden got beautified we made our rounds admiring the work. We played games and enjoyed the weather.
Ridgeway Rise July 2021 We commenced this year’s celebration on 14th June with a Lemon Monday. The residents played Lemon target Throw game and tried their skills and Bobbing lemons.
Ridgeway Rise July 2021 Herbilicious Tuesday Second day of Hydration & Nutrition Week was all about herbs. We had seeds and plants ready for our flower beds.
Ridgeway Rise July 2021 Pride & Prejudice Party On Wednesday we organised a Pride and Prejudice party. Relatives were invited to join in the celebrations. The residents made their own fascinators and ties, we had live music, cream tea and a photo booth with Mr Darcy.
Ridgeway Rise July 2021 Tutti Frutti Thursday On Thursday we had some fun with fruit skewers. We started off in the garden and then were forced by cheeky summer showers to finish our activity inside
Ridgeway Rise July 2021 Sharing is Caring On the last day of the hydration and nutrition awareness week we produced bookmarks for the local primary school children with suggestions of healthy snacks.
Ridgeway Rise July 2021 Father’s Day Covid 19 unfortunately put a hold on many of the anticipated sport events in the last months. Supporters were not able to see their favourite teams playing live. However nothing is impossible. The residents of Ridgeway Rise were in for a treat this Father’s Day. If they couldn’t go to a football match, a football match came to them. Swindon Supermarine U7’s football team (Josh, Miles, Lucas, Taylan, Jesse, Oakley, Joey and Reece) offered a demonstration of their amazing skills.
July 2021 Smoothies Station There’s nothing more refreshing on a hot day than freshly made smoothies delivered straight to your door.
