The Rural Youth Ambassador program is a specific program focused on Year
11 students, and forms part of the Rural Inspire initiative, aimed at increasing
the aspirations of young people in rural and remote communities.
As Rural Youth Ambassadors, Hayden and Jessica will join other young
people from across rural South Australia in a range of forums and discussions
exploring key areas of interest to rural life and education. Ambassadors
will have the chance to meet with Government Ministers, senior education BEFORE AFTER
leaders and other key stakeholders throughout the year. Jessica and Hayden
are currently in Adelaide at the first of the forums, and we look forward to
hearing more about the program as the year progresses.
This recognition of Amey, Hayden and Jessica is well deserved, and
demonstrates what can be achieved when young people combine high
aspirations with a genuine commitment to succeed.

end of last term, students in our Reception, Year 1/2, Year 4/5 and Year PLASTERER
6/7 classes performed their Holy Week Easter Plays in the Church Hall in
front of many parents and for the junior primary students. After Easter
the Year 2/3 students presented their Easter Resurrection Play. All of
the students involved depicted the Easter story so well and acted with
confidence. They should be proud of their efforts.

ANZAC Day

by laying a beautiful wreath at the gates of the Jamestown Memorial.
I would like to thank Harper Young, Halle Clark and Patrick Sutter for
representing the school for this important event during the school
holidays. Lest We Forget.
