parents, we teach the whole student to Christ-centered learning
know and apply wisdom for the good of community.
our world and the glory of God.

                   Guiding Principles
We aim to create a safe, controlled learning environment for our students as they
learn each day. While on-campus, ICS will continue to prioritize the prevention
methods of social distancing, mask wearing, and increased handwashing.
Additionally, our goal is to be proactive in identifying COVID-19 patients within our
community and then quickly identifying those most at risk. Our continued focus
will be to keep our campus safe, healthy and controlled.

                                                                                            1
Safety Protocols for
    Re-Opening of the Campus

Preventative Measures Being Taken to Return to School

1 Over 94% of teachers/staff are fully vaccinated.

2 Classrooms are set up to minimize the impact of one positive COVID case with
students being at least 1-2 meters apart.

3 Accurate seating charts are used for all classes in order to identify at-risk students in
     a timely manner.

4 Classrooms and high-traffic areas are cleaned and sanitized regularly by PCS.

5 100% of the classrooms have air purifiers in the room with filters to help remove
particles from the air. Classroom doors are also kept open between class changes.

6 Students/teachers must wear masks at all times while indoors. Acceptable masks are
2-ply medical or cloth and must be well fitted and worn effectively over the nose and
mouth. Buffs or masks with vents are not permitted

7 PE classes take place in open-air environments and students stay distanced as much
     as possible.

8 Touch-free water bottle filling stations are in place and students are expected to have
     a water bottle.

9 Stairwells are divided with tape/paint in order to create two way walking corridors.

10 Signage is posted throughout the school to remind students of:
       • wearing face masks
       • keeping socially distant
       • washing hands properly for 20 seconds
       • coughing into elbow or tissue

11 If there are COVID concerns within our teacher/staff/student community, a partnership
with Bangkok Hospital has been established, if needed, to provide the appropriate
     care and facilities.

                                                                                                 2
Reporting Forms for Staff and Students

All students, teachers and staff must take an Antigen Test Kit (ATK) and report a negative
1 result in order to come to school

ATKs must be Thai FDA-approved and have the stamp shown below. Here
is a list of acceptable ATKs from the Thai FDA. (ATKs available at most
                 stores are FDA approved.)

2 Parents/Students are expected to use the Thai Save Thai app or pdf documents each day
    for each child.

3 Students are expected to keep a journal of where they have traveled each day.

Antigen Test Kits (ATK)
1 ATKs will be required for every student each week. 50% of the student population will be
tested on each Sunday and the other 50% will be tested on Tuesdays. This testing
strategy covers every classroom in every grade across the entire school each week with
100% of students being tested over the course of each week in order to give an accurate
assessment of possible cases within our community. If testing frequency needs to be
    adjusted, ICS will communicate accordingly.

2 ICS teachers and staff will take an ATK and submit the report weekly.

3 Student ATKs must be completed at home under the supervision of a parent or guardian.

4 Acknowledgement of a negative ATK is required in order to return to school.

5 If an ATK yields a positive result, it is expected that family would follow government
    requirements.

                                                                                             3
ATK Reporting Schedule:

Group Number Test Day Student Last Name

Group 1 Every Sunday Last name A-M

Responding to Positive COVID
tests and Contact
The key to a safe learning environment at ICS is sharing needed information about test results
and medical advice. ICS will consider this medical advice to individually approve the return to
school plan. Generally, the student will stay away from school for 7 -14 days, and the adminis-
tration will determine the exact time away using the following criteria.
  • Government regulations
  • Documentation of onset of symptoms, covid test results, vaccination status, history of
previous COVID infections, or any combination of these.
  • Nature of exposure
  • Medical advice

Student, parent, teacher, and staff responsibilities to contact with information or
documentation:

1 Person with positive Covid test result
       a. If ATK test is positive, immediately inform ICS school nurse and get a RT-PCR test
to confirm positive result within 24 hours.

       b. If RT-PCR test is positive, inform ICS within 24 hours. You will receive information
about needed documentation. ICS will consider this documentation and inform you
of the plan for return to school.

       c. If RT-PCR test is negative, inform ICS within 24 hours and provide documentation
of the negative RT-PCR test result. ICS will approve return to school if there is no
       contradictory medical advice.

2 Person with direct contact (defined above)
       a. Direct contact at school/school event - ICS will contact immediately and inform the
family of the number of days before returning to school. A negative ATK result will be
required before a return to school.

       b. Direct contact, not school related - Parent should inform ICS within 24 hours and
provide information and/or medical advice. ICS will consider this information and
inform you of the plan for return to school.

3 Person with indirect contact
Continue to come to school (Low risk). No information or documentation is required.
Continue with the ICS ATK testing schedule.

                                                                                                 7
