MINUTES OF THE 37TH ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING 6.4 APPOINTMENT OF EXTERNAL AUDITOR With a unanimuous decision, Messrs Reanda Adept PAC was duly appointed as LBKM’s External Auditor for the ensuing two years. 6.5 On behalf of LBKM, Chairman thanked the outgoing Council members for their contributions to LBKM and welcomed the newly elected Council members. 7. ANY OTHER BUSINESS There was no proposal raised for discussion by the stipulated date, 22 June 2018. 8. PRESIDENT’S CLOSING ADDRESS 8.1 Mr Suhaimi Salleh thanked everyone for giving him the mandate to lead LBKM for the next two years. 8.2 He indicated that with integrity and effective leadership, the trust of donors and the general public increases; however we should not feel complacent or easily satisfied. 8.3 He would like to remind the newly elected Executive Council, secretariat and himself not to be too comfortable in the current situation. We must continue to improve our governance transparency and efficiency, and customer service systems to our beneficiaries and donors. 8.4 He also said that we will continue to review our programmes and services to remain relevant in the changing landscape of charity and education. 8.5 With that, we will continue to strive for the trust of our members and donors. There being no other matters, the meeting ended at 7.15 pm with a recitation of Doa by Ustaz Mohd Yusri Yubhi Md Yusoff.
