Release Information: Product Name SATATYA SAMAS Product Variants NA Version Revision V03R05 What’s new in this release: Overview Introduced Auto addition of Matrix Camera via Camera Initiation. Support added for Media2 Service Specification of ONVIF 17.06. Support given for sending Audio OUT with matrix HVR/NVR/DVR device Cameras. Provided addition of IP camera models – Netra 5000 Standard Variant, Netra Premium Variant, SAMIKSHA Standard Variant and SAMIKSHA Premium Variant. In Incidence Search, provided data captured on Scenario Resumed OR Scenario Failed. Provided option to detect Slot Occupancy via Sensor. Managed Slot Occupancy by receiving AUX Input events from COSEC PANELLITE. Provided option to generate Downtime Analysis Report and maintenance Report in Excel format. Provided option to generate Downtime Analysis Report and maintenance Report based on Source selection. Introduced Snapshot base Day highlights (Time Lapse). Support added to set Recording Sever Time on Devices (added via Brand/Model). Also every 2 hours Recording Server will sync Device date/time by setting its time on Devices added via Brand/Model or ONVIF. On camera addition in Recording Server, Video Streams configured at Camera shall be fetched and stored in SATATYA SAMAS. Introduced Weighbridge Application Module for detecting Weight from Weighbridge Terminal (Seven Segment Display) and manage its transactions with Evidence.

Provided device addition failure report for auto initiated matrix IP Camera OR HVR/NVR/DVR camera. Provision given to get MAC address of IP camera while adding it into SAMAS. For camera’s who’s GET MAC Address API is not available, blank MAC address will be displayed. On camera addition in Recording Server, Video Streams configured at Camera shall be fetched and stored in SAMAS. Introduced Video Stream Profile number to synchronize configurations as per Camera’s Video Stream Profile number. One stream profile shall be requested only once from Camera for serving multiple client request from SAMAS for same stream profile. Cameras with same IP Address from different internal networks can be searched as new devices in respective Recording Servers. Hence, user can add from Auto discovery/Auto Add option in Recording Server. Provided option to configure Day highlights- snapshot (Time Lapse) recording. 1.2 General Settings Pagination has been given in configured report scheduler. Activity Log data can be exported in .xlsx format. Also provided option to export all searched event or current page search result. Provided option to Search/Select/Deselect all Entity in Entity Rights applicable on User Group Removed SSL Settings tab. provided same from Management Server configuration settings. Provided option to configure Custom Fields for Users in User Profile. Option to rename Custom fields for User and its Vehicle has been provided in User Attributes & Vehicle Attributes respectively. Added Custom Fields, which are introduced in user profile, in Export templates.
In User Groups, introduced Module rights for Weighbridge Application module. Also added Weight Modification and Vehicle Enroll Rights in Media Rights of user group. 1.3 CREAM (Cognitive Response Engine with Automated Monitoring) Added new Event Source Types -AUX Input, Terminal & Station in Basic and advance scenario. Provision given to send immediate Email/SMS on action take up by allowing 0 minute configuration in ‘Send next Email/SMS after every’ field. Introduced Terminal in Trigger IVA Detection for Weight Detection. 1.4 Parking Management Parking Slot can be configured with SATATYA SAMAS Camera OR AUX Input Sensor. Slot Occupancy event can be configured with either Camera OR Sensor. In case of Sensor, on receiving of AUX Input Active SATATYA SAMAS generates ‘Slot Occupied’ event and for AUX Input Normal we declares ‘Slot Available’. Added User and Vehicle Custom Fields in Parking Reports. 1.5 Vehicle Management (Vehicle Detection - ANPR) Added User and Vehicle Custom Fields in Vehicle Reports. 1.6 IVA module (Parking Management, Crowd Management, Person Identification, Vehicle Management, Perimeter Control) Instead of allowing zone configuration with IVA Cameras, now all zones of IVA modules (i.e. Parking Management, Perimeter Management, Crowd Management, Person Identification and Vehicle Management) can be configured with all cameras added in SAMAS. 1.6 System Monitor
Event Log data can be exported in .xlsx format. Also provided option to export all searched event or current page search result. Allowed sorting on ‘Last Backup’ column of Recording Server and Failover Server health based on date time wise. Improvised logic of sorting all entity system health data. Downtime Analysis Report generation logic has been changed. Now, report will be generated on Server Start-Stop rather than connect-disconnect with Management Server. Introduced new event source types - AUX Input, Station & terminal in Summary report and summary report scheduler to generated summary report of AUX Input events, Station Events & Terminal Events respectively. Introduces Event Source Type - AUX Input in Analytics report & its scheduler to generated analytical report of AUX Input events. Provided option to generate evidence report for AUX Input Active/Normal events in evidence report & evidence report scheduler. Provided option to generate evidence report for Weight detected, Weight modified, entry/ exit transaction events in evidence report & evidence report scheduler. Added Custom Fields, which are introduced in user profile , in fields to display of evidence report & evidence report scheduler Introduced scheduling of Material Transaction Report. 1.7 Weighbridge Application (Introduction of New Module) 1.7.1 Introduction: To resolve the Manual Operations of Existing Weighbridge Terminal; Evidence and Productivity issues; using single solution for multi-location architecture problem and hence the actual customer pain, an application module has been developed with solution that can mitigate the requirements for standard Weighing Operations and consist the salient features of SATATYA SAMAS to bring required Evidences of Material, Vehicle and associated users as an overall product offering. For Weighbridge Operator, Product Manufacturing Vendors and Organizations who are operating either Single or Multi-location Weighbridge Terminal for weighing & material
management Operations, Can Use this Integrated ‘Weighbridge Application’ Module on the base of SATATYA SAMAS as complete Video Surveillance driven solution. Starting from Capturing the Weight through OCR (Optical Character Recognition), Identifying the Vehicle License Plates and Evidence collection on single click and storing the same on unique receipt ID; Which can be used later at the time of Exit or the another location and also for future perspective. An end to end Complete Weighbridge Solution!! 1.7.2 Provisions and Features: Added Provision to configure Terminals for detecting Weight has been added. Provision to calibrate the Weight had been added. Introduced option to configure station for Entry and Exit transaction associated with it. Also provided option to make templates for the Evidence Receipt that going to be used in transaction. Added Provision to configure Basic scenarios against Terminal and Station’s Transaction Events Introduced Material Transaction Report for providing details of transaction taken place in Weighbridge. Provided option to generate report for Completed/Pending/unattended transactions. Provided option to configure Retention days for Transactions per Station. 2 Management Server Provided option to upload SSL certificate from Management Server SSL settings itself. 3 Media Client Provided option of ‘Audio In’ and ‘Audio Out’ in Live Video Popup. Updated default path of Media & configuration files to components’ installation path. Files include Snapshot, Export, local Recording, Incidence and alarm & Video Pop-up sound alert files. Updated Smart Client, Multi Display Client and IVA Server trace log file location. Displayed sensor details in Slot Occupancy Popup and Parking Status Widget.
Allowed Event Log data searching with ‘AUX Input’ Event Source Type. In Slot Occupancy feature both in case of sensor or camera, whenever slot state is changed to available then it will contain last seen vehicle details of slot. Default option of showing live stream in media client would be changed to ‘Optimized’. Added AUX Input Active and AUX Input Normal events in online event filter. Introduced Snapshot base Day highlights (Time lapse) recording playback with FPS Selection Playback. As per user’s entity rights, Servers and Devices health shall be visible in System Monitor. Updated COSEC Door icon as per the camera status of the camera assigned against the COSEC Door. Added Custom fields details of User in the Vehicle Events. Introduced Weight Detection Event Alert. Also added provision to close pop-up on time based. Option to modify Weight detected in Weight Detection Event has been provided as per user rights. Introduced Vehicle Enrollment from Transaction Receipt against the unidentified vehicle detection. Introduced Entry/Exit Transaction Alert Pop-up for generation of Evidence Receipt of Weighbridge. Provision added to approve/reject the transaction Also introduced option to Share - Print/Send Email/Send SMS the approved/rejected Transaction Receipts. Note: In following cases of bookmark creation, it might get created 5 to 10 seconds in advance/later then the Event time when created through scenario action – Smooth logic is on, Download from Edge from Action & Edge Recording along with continuous writing & two same event occurs within 10 seconds.
Issue Fixed in this release: Field Issues: Sr. No. Issue Title with Summary 1 Title: Axis Camera – Date Time Sync with Recording Server via brand/Model every 2 hours Summary: In RecSetting File of Recording Server, Added tag ‘DeviceSyncTime’ with default value’ 2 ‘. Min Value: 1 and Max Value: 1000. Unit: Hours. . If invalid/out of range value is inserted then default value shall be taken into consideration Only added Axis Camera for Date Time Sync via Brand Model. 2 Title: Storage ‘Add Recording Drive’ button disable even when RS is connected Summary: When Storage page is loaded. Recording Server Health data shall be requested in background. Hence, UI and Data gathering process starts. As a result , till the time Health is received, ‘Add Recording Drive’ shall be disabled and configured drive status shall be disconnected. Once health is received, button shall be enabled and drive status shall be updated. 3 Title: Recording Server – Connect/Disconnect events is generated every 5 to 15 seconds. Summary: Now Management Server removes session of Recording Server after 120 seconds. Recording Server poll duration increased to 20 seconds. Recording Server shall send Health every 30 seconds. Also kept it configurable in Recsetting file. In RecSetting File of Recording Server, Added tag ‘HealthUpdateTime’ with default value’ 30 ‘. Min Value: 10 and Max Value: 900. Unit: seconds. . If invalid/out of range value is inserted then default value shall be taken into consideration 4 Title: Smart Client – Health not receiving(Timeout increased in Register) Summary: In Register of Smart Client, Added DWORD ‘SystemHealthTimeOut’ with default value’ 8000 ‘. Min Value: 5000 and Max Value: 60000. Unit: Millisecond. If invalid/out of range value is inserted then default value shall be taken into consideration Management Server shall also timeout command after 15 seconds. Also added Tag ‘ESHealthTimeOut’in MgmtSetting file with default value’ 15‘. Min Value: 1 and Max Value: 30. If invalid/out of range value is inserted then default value shall be taken into consideration.
5 Title: Database Connection request lost Summary: In Register of SATATYA SAMAS, Added DWORD ‘MaxPoolSize’ with default value’ 100‘. Min Value: 1 and Max Value: 1024. . If invalid/out of range value is inserted then default value shall be taken into consideration. 6 Title: Number of connected Recording Server(s) to be displayed. Summary: In Servers & Devices module-> in Management Server summary grid. Number of configured RS and connected RS shall be displayed in Recording Server Accordion header. 7 Title: High RAM usage of recording server and disconnection of Camera Summary: Sockets object of camera were maintained in single collection and were not removed from collection on socket closed. Now onward, Stopped to maintain stream socket in single collection. 8 Title: High RAM Usage of IVA Server Summary: New methods introduced to handle the memory allocation buffer effectively fro RAM utilization related to IVA Server.
Installation Procedure: Note: For New Installation or Upgradation from previous version of SATATYA SAMAS, Please refer the ‘SATATYA_SAMAS_Installation_Guide’ provided in the ‘Help’ folder with Software Release package. Upgrading Procedure: Follow below mention steps to upgrade SATATYA SAMAS V03R05 from previous versions. 1. Take a backup of SAMAS Database from the Database Utility. 2. Copy and Paste V03R05 from Matrix Live FTP. 3. Run SATATYA SAMAS Installer from Software Release Package. 4. Click Reinstall to install all the components of SATATYA SAMAS with the upgraded version. 5. Select all components and proceed further. Once Installation completed check the Database upgradation process and SATATYA SAMAS will be upgraded.
