Field Day – May 20 Last Day of School Dates to May 25 End of Year Celebration – May 24 Remember Registration for 2021-2022 The deadline for returning students is fast approaching. If you do not complete the online application by May 28, you will have to start a new application in the new student information and will have to provide updated residency documents. For more information go to d300.org/OnlineRegistration. If you need to set up your Parent Portal account, please contact the school office at 224-484-5600 for your personal code. To schedule an appointment to use one of the school’s Registration Kiosks call 224- 484-5603. ABC Countdown Monday, May 10 – Orange Day – Wear as much as possible. Tuesday, May 11 – Perry Pride Day – Show your school spirit and wear your Perry colors (blue & white). Wednesday, May 12 – Quiet Day – Listen to a quiet story read by your teacher. Thursday, May 13 – Red, White & Blue Day – Wear red, white & blue to school. Friday, May 14 – Summer Birthdays – We will celebrate all of the summer birthdays! Field Day is May 20th There will be activities in the classroom, the gym and outside. Make sure your child is dressed for the weather that day. If needed the rain date will be May 21st. District Art Show Starts May 7th You can view the Art Show virtually this year. Go to www.d300.org to view the show. Summer Construction Perry will be closed from May 26 until early August for construction. The office will be relocated to Oakridge School for the summer months. D300 Fine and Performing Arts Summer Music Offerings D300 MIDDLE SCHOOL SUMMER MUSIC: BAND, ORCHESTRA, AND CHORUS PROGRAM June 1 - 10, 2021 (Week 1: Tues.-Fri., Week 2: Mon.-Thurs.) I N F O R M AT I O N Dundee Middle School Each group meets for 90 minutes (see times below) $120 per student per program, $200 for both an instrumental class and a vocal class Register on the D300 Webstore: https.//store.d300.org/ Registration will include PPE for instrument and/or voice Groups will be limited based on space and registration is first come first serve by ensemble SCHEDULE 8 a.m.-9:30 a.m.: Beginning Band/Orchestra students entering grades 6-8 AND 9:45 a.m.-11:15 a.m.: Returning Band/Orchestra students entering grades 7/8 ADDITIONAL I N F O R M AT I O N 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m.: Returning Band/Orchestra students entering grade 6 9:45 a.m.-11:15 a.m.: Beginning Choir students entering grade 6 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m.: Returning Choir students entering grades 7/8 NEW THIS YEAR! Beginner Students: Students who have not played an instrument or participated in a choir will be able to start this summer. Enrollment in the summer will prepare students to participate in middle school. Students will self-select an instrument. For info on a low cost school instrument, please contact the Coordinator.
