A) Reports Reports will be available on the website, presently My Fantasy League.com. http://www2.myfantasyleague.com/2011/home/42274 Please pay particular attention to the "Calendar" tab, which will provide all relevant information as to line-up, waiver, etc. deadlines. B) General 1. Full fees are required before draft day! No exceptions! Any team not paying the league fee at or before draft day will not be allowed to draft! 2. Play is in a three (3) division format with each four (4) teams per division. Teams play each team in both divisions once. 3. Three (3) division winners plus the next three (3) best records (winning percentage) make the play-offs. (See play-offs). 4. My Fantasy League.com statistics will be used as the official box scores. Should a discrepancy arise the owner who is questioning the stat should inform the commissioner within a week, so that a statistic's question can be submitted for further review. No change will be made until an official ruling is received. 5. Division Tie Breakers will be handled in the following order. 1. Winning Percentage 2. Point Total 3. Head To Head 4. Divisional Winning Percentage 5. Reverse Order of Opponents Total Points Scored 6. Coin Toss Thus a record of 1-1-2 is exactly equivalent to 2-2-0 and the tie breaker of total points is used. 6. There are NO Tiebreakers during the regular season. Ties are considered 1/2 win and 1/2 loss for winning percentage purposes. 7. All winnings will be distributed at the annual Rebels Fantasy Football League dinner. 8. Divisions will be determined by last seasons final regular season standings.
9. “The Idiot Rule” Any trade can be voided if the league feels a team has been depleted or excessively strengthened. Any team may submit a complaint to the Commissioner to have a trade Revoked. The complaint will be reviewed and the Commissioner in his judgment may reach out to the League to determine whether or not a trade should be revoked. Note, there have been only very rare cases in which the Idiot Rule has resulted in the voiding of a trade, and then only in cases where it was apparent that collusion had occurred. 10. All trade and waiver fees will be used for the annual RFFL dinner. C) DRAFTING 1. The draft will be held the weekend before the NFL season starts (typically the last weekend in August or first weekend of September). Each team will start out with $1,000 (draft dollars) as a salary cap that they must adhere to during the draft. The draft order will be determined as follows: Last Season’s Fantasy Bowl Winner nominates first and the order moves clockwise from there. Each owner whose turn it is to draft will state the player, position, NFL team, and the amount they are willing to pay for that player (All players must start at $5 and can only be bid on in multiples of $5). The owner who is next to draft can then try to out bid for that player. Bidding will go in the sequence of the initial drafting order and continue until any other owner does not match the highest bid. 2. There will be no passing on the bid. If the prior owner does not attempt to outbid the previous owner they will be eliminated from bidding on that player any further. The owner who bids the highest for a player will then own that player’s contract for the upcoming season. That purchase price is then deducted from their salary cap. The second owner in the draft will then pick a player and the process will continue. Due to the nature of the drafting not all owners will receive players during each round of the draft. The drafting will continue until all owners receive 16 players. 3. No dropping of players during the draft. A team who erroneously overbids during the auction of a player will be subject to a penalty, depending on the severity of the error. 4. There are no trades to occur during the draft.
E) TRADING / WAIVING PLAYERS 1) Trading will be permitted up until 7PM Thursday November 10, 2011. Week 10 begins the Thursday night games with Oakland vs. San Diego. 2) No player can be traded back to its original franchise for 4 weeks. 3) Trades will cost each team involved $1.50 per player involved. 4) All teams involved in trades must pay their own fee. 5) Trades must be proposed and accepted on the League website by 11:45 PM on the Saturday prior that weeks games in order to be eligible to start. In addition there is a Trade Lockout period from 11:45 PM Saturday through the end of that weeks games. 6) All trades must be balanced, this means that in a 2 for 1 deal, the team receiving the 2 players must throw in the player that they would have had to drop anyway into the trade to balance it. A teams roster must remain at 16 at all times. 7) Salary Cap will automatically be adjusted to allow for the trading of players with different salaries. For Example: Team A has a 16 man roster with $50 available cap ($950 in current salaries), and Team B has a 16 man roster with no free cap ($1,000 in current salaries). Team A trades Jason Witten ($115) to Team B for Brandon Pettigrew ($10), because Team A believes Pettigrew will put up similar numbers Witten for the remainder of the season. Disregarding any other approval problems, at the end of the trade Team A will have Pettigrew and an overall salary Cap of $895, whereas Team B will have Witten and an overall salary cap of $1,105. Note that Team A still has his previous free cap of $50 and Team B did not obtain any additional free Cap, since he now has to support the higher salary of Witten. Overall League Total Cap has not changed; it is still $12,000 overall. It is only the distribution of the cap that has changed in order to allow these 2 players to be traded. Trading of salary Cap is still prohibited, a team can not trade his cap. The intention of the transfer of Cap is to allow for easier trading of players and should not be used to "Manage your free Cap". Should Team B have dropped Witten he would now have $115 in free cap to bid with. Since this would then be considered nothing more than a cap trade, it would be dealt with harshly. 8) Note – the site is being programmed to require Commissioner Approval of all trades. All trades need to be balanced as to the number of players. All teams must always have 16 players. 2 for 1 trades must include the players being dropped in order for the Commissioner to process the trade. Any trades made without all of the required information will not be processed until
that information is provided. Trades will not be processed on Sunday morning, so make sure all information is complete before submission. 9) Three way trades, that is trades between more than 2 teams can not be accommodated automatically through the web site, therefore it is recommended that these types of trades be e-mailed to the Commissioner for processing. Upon receipt of all three teams e-mails the trade will be processed, again the trade deadline of 11:45 PM on Saturday is in effect. 10) Note – All of the above rules on trades assume a normal 1st Game on Sunday Week. Should the NFL begin a week earlier the Trade Lock-out is in effect from the start of the first game through the end of that week’s games. Waivers 1) There are 2 types of waivers - Blind Bid Waivers and First Come First Serve Waivers. 2) At the conclusion of the draft there will be no additional Cap added. Each team will have whatever cap is left over from their draft plus the player being dropped to bid. 3) There will be one round of Blind Bid Waivers prior to the start of the season to run from Tuesday September 6th to Wednesday September 7th at 11:45PM. Only 1 player may be added during this Special Round. Use Round 1 Only. 4) All players who are dropped will have their salary revert back to the league minimum of $5. 5) Blind Bid Waivers will allow a team to bid on players whereas First Come First Serve Waivers(FCFS waivers) are simple add drops. (Note during FCFS waivers no team may drop a player prior to the start time. The Add and the Drop must be completed in the same transaction.) 6) The Waiver Periods are as follows: Blind Bid Waivers - Sunday Kickoff through Tuesday at 11:45 PM Blind Bid Waivers - Wednesday 12 AM through Wednesday 11:45 PM First Come First Serve Waivers Thursday 7 PM through Sunday 12:45 PM Thanksgiving - First Come First Serve waivers begin at 8AM Thursday Morning. 1) There are NO Waiver Moves permitted from Sunday 12:46 PM through Kickoff on Sunday. 2) Blind Bid Waivers will now consist of three (3) Rounds (Use Rounds 1, 2, & 3 in the MFL waiver screen. In the Past we only used Round 1) DO NOT USE ANY ROUNDS OTHER THAN ROUND 1, ROUND 2 OR ROUND 3 TO LIST YOUR REQUESTS! 3) Now a team can change 6 players through bidding prior to the FCFS waivers.
4) The rounds are judged mutually exclusive. Round 1 processes then Round 2 etc. So although you can not list the same player in a single round you can list the same player in Round 1 or Round 2 or even Round 3. 5) Any player dropped will not be available until the following Weeks Waiver period. (Same as Last Year Only the Software will not allow a team to pick up such a player) 6) Any Player dropped, may not be reacquired by the team making the drop until the second set of Blind Bid Waivers beginning on Wednesdays. For Example I own Sean Alexander at a salary of $400, he is injured and expected to miss 6-8 weeks. If I drop him and free up the $400 in Cap Room, I will not be able to bid on him on Tuesday's Blind Bid Waivers whereas the rest of the league can. Since his salary reverts to $5 when dropped if any other team (not the team who dropped) bids for Alexander on Tuesday, they will get him for the price they bid, even if it is less than the original $400) Should no one bid on Alexander on Tuesday he is now considered "Cleared" and the original team who dropped him can now bid on him during the Wednesday Blind Bid Waivers. 7) Waivers will cost $1.50 per move, thus a complete waiver move consisting of an addition and drop will cost $3.00. 8) Ties - that is owners bidding the same amount for a player will be broken by giving the player to the team with the lowest record. (Determined the same way as the standings) 9) Prior to Week 1 there is 1 Blind Bid waiver move allowed - since there is no other way to break ties, in the event 2 teams bid the same amount for the same player the team that submitted the bid earliest will be awarded that player. REMEMBER USE ONLY ROUND 1 FOR THIS SPECIAL WAIVER ROUND. F) Rosters 1. Each team will consist of a 16 man roster. 2. Only an owner may submit his weekly Line-up. The commissioner may approve someone else to submit a team Line-up, but this practice is strongly discouraged. 3. Lineup must be posted on the league website at the LATEST 5 minutes prior to the start of the first game. Lineup changes may be made but only with players that have yet to play for that week. 4. Line-ups submitted will consist of one of the following: STANDARD: 1QB 2 RB 2WR 1 TE 1 K 1DEF WISHBONE: 1 QB 3RB 1 WR 1 TE 1K 1 DEF
RUN & SHOOT: 1 QB 1 RB 3 WR 1 TE 1 K 1 DEF DOUBLE TE/RUN STRONG: 1 QB 2 RB 1WR 2 TE 1 K 1 DEF DOUBLE TE/PASS STRONG: 1 QB 1 RB 2WR 2TE 1 K 1DEF 5. Team owners are responsible for checking his/her own scores. Any corrections must be made before game time the following week. 6. If no line-up is submitted the previous week's line-up will be used. This practice is strongly discouraged. * Reserves are only used for Play-off tiebreakers only. 8. Line-ups must be submitted five (5) minutes before game time. No exceptions. 9. Line-ups must be submitted in the website. In order for the enjoyment of all teams, phoned in line-ups will not be accepted. Please feel free to call one of your fellow owners, who has access to a computer and who you trust enough with your password to submit your line-up. 10. Any player released by a team will not be available until the following weeks waiver. 11. There will be a $1.50 fee per player involved for each team involved in a trade. Teams must pay their own trade fees. No future considerations, conditional trades (trades based on promises of future trades) or power trades (trades intended to strengthen one team) will be allowed. If there is any suspicion of these types of illegal trading, a league meeting will be called to determine a course of action regarding the parties involved. Two teams trading players may not re-trade the same player back to each other for 4 (four) weeks. The same players may be traded to other teams within the 4 (four) weeks but not back to their original teams.
F) Play-offs 1. No team that is currently active in the playoffs can pick up players dropped by a team that has been eliminated from the play-offs. 2. The 3 (three) division winners and the next 3 (three) best records (wildcards) over all make the play-offs. 3. The two (2) top seeded, of the 3 (three) division winners, will have a bye in week 14, the first week of the play-offs. 4. Week 14 The Wildcard Play-offs. There will be 2 (two) play-off games. The non-bye division winner plays the 3rd seeded wildcard team. The 1st seeded wild card team plays the 2nd seeded wild card team . 4. Week 15: The lowest seeded wildcard winner plays the #1 seeded division winner and the remaining 2 (two) teams play each other. 5. Teams must also include 2 Non-Starting players as reserves to break ties during the playoffs. Owner must indicate Reserve 1 and then Reserve 2. Ties will be broken by first reviewing each team’s Reserve 1 and if still tied Reserve 2 will be examined. Should the teams remain tied the Sum of the Top 2 Scoring Starters will determine the winner. If still tied the Home Field Advantage (Higher Ranked Team) will be used to break the tie. 7. Week 16: The winners from week 15 play each other in the Fantasy Bowl, while the losers from week 15 play in the Consolation Bowl. 8. No weekly prizes will be awarded on weeks 14, 15 & 16. G) Non Play-off Teams 1. The 6 Non-Playoff Teams will have the opportunity to continue participating in an attempt to win the $100 prize for the First Annual RFFL Toilet Bowl. 2. The format and rules are the same as above. So even if you don't make the playoffs you can still compete for the $100. 3. In an effort to keep the playoff teams from being out foxed by the Non- Playoff teams, during the Playoffs - Toilet Bowl Contending teams can not perform any Blind Bid Waivers. They may however select up to 1 player during the First Come First Serve waivers beginning on Friday at Midnight.
4. Non-Playoff teams should only use this move to replace and injured starter to remain competitive, but not to the detriment of the Play-Off Teams. 5. Any controversies arising from this new Non-Playoff Bracket will be decided by the Commissioner giving all benefits to the Play-Off teams. G) Addendum’s “THE DON RULE” Any team found to have acted dishonestly in any league related actions, by an owner vote, may be suspended or expelled from the league and will not receive any of their league fees back. All teams that have played or will play the suspended or expelled team will receive a win and “0” points. COLLUSION: Defined as "a secret agreement or cooperation especially for an illegal or deceitful purpose". A fantasy football example - Teams A, B and C collude together to pick up all of Teams D and Z's back-ups, for no other reason than because they did not like something that was done. Collusion will not be tolerated in this league, and may be grounds for expulsion. These rules are intended to maintain fairness and eliminate any anticipated problems for all participating teams in league play. In the spirit of sportsmanship and fair play, we ask that you play within the guidelines specified for the sole reason of keeping the close bond of friendship this league has created between all owners alive.
