CONTENTS WELCOME Welcome to Hackney Moves 2021! We may have missed a year due to the pandemic, but we are so excited to welcome you all back to East London. Join us for three days of sport, movement, and community, all culminating in the Hackney Half on 26 September when nearly 24,000 runners will take to the streets and celebrate the spirit of Hackney. Make sure you make the most of the festival weekend with us. Get race ready with bib pick-up and street food on Friday. Shakeout at the free 5K and stock up at the Market on the Marshes 04. Everyone has been allocated a specific arrival time based on the start pen letter shown on the front of your race number. Please take note of these timings below and ensure you follow them on race day. COVID-19 MEASURES Over the past 18 months we have been working closely with the London Borough of Hackney, Public Health England and all necessary agencies, to plan how we can host the Hackney Half this year on Sunday September 26, in a safe way. We can’t wait to welcome you all back to East London to run with us and have developed a plan that will allow the event to take place in a safe and responsible way. As always, the safety of our runners and everyone involved in our event remains our number one priority. We will be operating the event in a Covid-secure way to give everyone the time and space to be comfortable at all times. Therefore, there will be some additional measures in place at this year’s event. Please read all of the below important information and follow all instructions.
