                             Qatar’s new star
As one of the developing regions of the world, the Middle East has come a long way in terms of
economic development and now the region is looking to invest in new and diverse industries –
one of which is satellite. With significant demand for satellite services, there is opportunity for new
operators. We take a look at new player Es’hailSat as they begin their journey in the satellite
                             industry.

The Middle East is gradually turning into a hot bed for satellite Investment in the space industry has been significant with inves-

region that is running low on available satellite capacity, yet is expe- good return. It is also an issue of independence for the Middle East
riencing burgeoning demand for the full raft of satellite communica- as a region. No longer do countries want to be reliant on others to
tions services. With events on the horizon such as the FIFA World provide satellite capacity over their region – they wish to do it them-
