WELCOME NOTE OF ThE LOCAL CONFERENCE ChAIRS Dear participants of PSMR2019, It is a great pleasure to welcome you to the 8th conference on PET/MR and SPECT/MR! Attendees of 23 nations have registered to this meeting. We look forward to an exciting mix of scientific presentations, covering all aspects of PET/MR and SPECT/MR development, instrumentation, and applica- tion. A special session will focus on quantitative MRI. As in the previous years, there are no parallel sessions. Thus, the poster session will give you plenty of opportunity to discuss with the researchers directly. The best oral and poster presentations by young researchers will receive awards. Enjoy science and the Munich hospitality! Sibylle Ziegler Stephan Nekolla Negar Omidvari 4

PAPER SUBMISSION TO IEEE TRPMS As in the previous editions, IEEE-NPSS is a technical sponsor of the PSMR con- ference 2019. Full papers from the conference undergoing a full peer review process will be published as a Special Issue of IEEE Transactions on Radiation and Plasma Medi- cal Sciences. The papers should be submitted on https://mc.manuscriptcentral. com/trpms selecting under manuscript type «PSMR 2019». Instructions to the authors submitting to IEEE TRPMS can be found on the same site under «In- structions & Forms». The deadline for full paper submission will be 10 July 2019. There are no page charges or other publication costs for TRPMS unless the authors choose to have their manuscript published as open-access. 10
