The Counselling Cell under a qualified and experienced
Counselor aims at strengthening the child's coping abilities to
counter environmental stress, complex situations and the
adolescence. The students can also walk up to the counsellor
for a heart to heart talk and this has proved a very helpful for

A Complete Home
The demand for a Hostel in the School
premises was fulfilled in the session 2015-16. DPS Indore
has opened its gates, to students residing in other parts of
the state to avail quality education. Spread in an area of
about 1 acre within the DPS School campus, the Hostel
has an initial capacity of lodging 100 students on a
sharing basis of 3 students per room which is air
conditioned with attached washroom and dressing area.
The accommodation capacity of the Hostel in future will
be increased to house 275 students. The hostel situated
in close proximity with nature, provides a home-like
environment and world class facilities to its residents. A
well equipped dining hall with fully mechanized and
hygienic kitchen, a spacious recreation room, a study and
a library are present in the hostel to meet the basic
requirements of the students. Round-the-clock medical
facility to take care of emergencies and proper security
and privacy is assured to the hostellers. Parks,
playgrounds, swimming pool and all other sporting
facilities are provided under the guidance of competent
coaches. Rigorous tutorials after school improve the
academic standards and enable the teachers to give
individual attention to the students. The splendid green
environment of the school enhances their academic
excellence.

Admission to Classes Pre-Nursery, Nursery &
Prep is based on Draw of lots. Few seats are
reserved for Management Quota, RTE, Sibling
Cases, Staff Child, Transfers Cases. Admission
under RTE will be granted only in Nursery by
reserving 25% seats. Admission to Class I to VIII
is on the basis of preliminary interaction with
the parent & child. The candidates will be
selected on the basis of draw of lots as per the
class-wise seats available.
Admission to Class IX is on the basis of an
entrance exam in English, Science and
Mathematics conducted at the beginning of
every session. The entrance Exam will be
followed by an interview. For selection Minimum
60% will be the cut off & merit order will be
prepared on the basis of performance in the Admission Rules
Entrance Exam & Interview. & Regulations
Admission to class XI is as per the criteria fixed
by the school and the performance in Class X Registration fee and admission fee is non-t ransferable
Board Exam: and non-refundable.
After the candidate has been short listed for
granting admission a Provisional Admission offer is
given to the parent with a time limit of 1 week to
fulfill the admission formalities.
In case the parent fails to complete the formalities
within the given time frame, the seat is offered to
the next candidate from the waiting list.
