National Association of Lash Artists
NALA was created in 2016 to advocate for lash artists and
educators around the world. The National Association of
Lash Artists offers support to the lash industry by
establishing much-needed regulatory guidelines, as well as
offering Course Accreditation, Educator Certification,
NALA Memberships and Industry Awards.
NALA is dedicated to nurturing the growth and
sustainability of our professional trade. This association, in
a very short time, has been instrumental in improving
professional standards for lash artists, lash educators and
most recently, product manufacturers and suppliers.
Levi Shephard has dedicated her entire
Meet Levi, NALA President career to supporting the global lash
community. She is a key contributor to
the advancement of the lash trade and
will continue to hold a strong presence
in the industry for decades to come.
Over the years, Levi has gained experience in many aspects of business; successful lash artist, lash
extensions educator, lash and brow studio owner, professional product developer, magazine columnist,
founder of an accredited training academy, international stage presenter, author of business-building
ebooks, creator of an international industry awards program, and founder of an international
association.
Levi is always looking for new ways to support the lash trade. Her association currently offers the NALA
Educator’s Certification Course, NALA Accreditation for lash training courses, the NALA Membership
and, the now infamous, NALA Awards Gala.
Levi encourages all lash artists to maintain strict standards for themselves and their services.

Loreta Jasilionyte is one of the lash industries key experts and recognized trainers worldwide. With almost 30
trainers, 17 distributors and millions of women wearing her lashes across the globe, Loreta has built a
successful leading lash empire in just four years. Since founding Flawless Lashes; Loreta has become a pioneer
in new techniques and has traveled the world as a respected international trainer and judge for numerous
prestigious competitions. With an eye for spotting talent, Loreta founded her academy and has educated some
of the leading trainers in well-respected lash corporations, and her techniques and education are unparalleled.
Loreta’s specialty is Russian Volume Lashes.
Loreta’s accolades include winning the NALA Professional Integrity award, the Best Lash Supplier several years
running, being published in first and third Lash Masters Book, winning the award for Best Academy UK and the
award for Best Customer service, judging over 100 competitions, applying the lashes for the X Factor house and
speaking in over 100 conferences to date. Trained herself over 2000 students. From humble beginnings as a
qualified midwife in Lithuania, Loreta transitioned her medical background and talents to the beauty world and
has rapidly become a figurehead within the lash industry. Loreta’s tenacity is a key factor to her success and

educator, an Advisory Board Member of NALA, a freelance magazine contributor, and a passionate
industry influencer. Emily was the Supreme Overlord of Lash Wars and Executive Director of NEESA
for four years. She is also the Founder of BeautyPro Media, where she provides impartial, honest
reviews to budding professionals looking for guidance in a very saturated field. Look out for some

JESSI LOVE
Photo shoots, international runway shows, film and television - Jessi had no trouble finding her place in
the beauty industry. But it was her entrepreneurial savvy that brought her into the lash industry. And her
business acuity saw opportunity in both, the artistry and education of lashes. She built a profitable
business from the ground up for the past 11 years, in addition to establishing a first-class lash training
academy and product line.
Even with her many successes and accolades, her expertise and artistry, Jessi is actually all about the
people and the community she has been building. Her connection to clients and their satisfaction is how
she measures her success. And the satisfaction she derives from inspiring students is the source of her
motivation.
Jessi Love isn’t just about beauty or good business models. She and her co-founder Derek Cockroft are

PETR LHOTSKÝ
Petr Lhotský, owner of Diamond Lashes, is an international educator, trainer, judge, and coach. He is
the host of the biggest international eyelash extensions educational congress, League of LashMasters,
which was voted as most inspirational lash conference. Petr is the author of several educational
programs and has trained over 1400 lash artists. In 2016 he started a world tour with his Master
Classes – Europe, North and South America, Australia, Asia
He is a co-author of the book Lash Masters VOL 2 and has been published in multiple lash, business,
and lifestyle magazines. Petr also enjoys the privilege of working with celebrities in the Czech
Republic and provides them with VIP services in eyelash extensions.
Together with his team, Petr develops new products for eyelash extensions. In 2013 the first in the
world market DIAMOND LASHES gentle cleansing foam for eyelash extensions. In 2015 new type of
lashes for speedy techniques – super short tape. In 2018 new signature precise silver VOLUME
tweezers for speedy techniques.

This hard working, warm hearted entrepreneur is a wife, mother of 2 boys and co-founder of Lashia,
a family run business that started in a basement in Stockholm, Sweden in 2006 and has since grown
into a world leading brand.
In 2016 Mimmi and her team opened the doors to Lashia Australia, being the first course in Australia
offering a 12 week course plan followed by a practical and theoretical exam. Mimmi's attention to
details and having assessed well over thousand Lashia exams, her mission is to better our industry
standards when it comes to delivering safe, natural looking eyelash extensions.
Having hosted the first ever Swedish Championships and judged multiple international eyelash
competitions, Mimmi is known to be very strict when it comes to "stickies" and adhesive safety and
looking after lash health are some of her top priorities.

With over 2 decades of experience in brows, lashes and skin science, Mandy Jeffery has become a
