Do your patients complain of pain, numbness, tingling, or burning in their toes, feet, or legs? Your patients could be suffering from Small Fiber Peripheral Neuropathy (SFPN). One quick in-office procedure can provide a definitive diagnosis, allowing you to determine effective treatment and symptom relief. Epidermal Nerve Fiber Density (ENFD) testing analysis is: The most objective tool for diagnosing, documenting, and monitoring SFPN Quick, in-office procedure with little to no post-procedure care Reimbursable by most insurance companies Request your complimentary BakoDx ENFD kits and in-service: bakodx.com/enfd-kit
DEAR COLLEAGUE, We are pleased to welcome you to the Music City Foot & Ankle Conference on September 25-26, 2020 that will be held virtually. This will be the first time in the history of the Tennessee Podiatric Medical Association that the annual conference will not be held in person. During these unprecedented times, Tennessee Podiatric Medical Association worked diligently with state leaders, agencies, and the executive branch to ensure podiatrists would be able to obtain their required continuing education hours online this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We are dedicated to providing outstanding continuing education programming in this new online format. The physicians’ program will enhance your skills in a broad range of surgical and medical areas including current concepts in foot and ankle surgery, diabetic wound care, radiology, and dermatology. A billing and coding track will highlight important changes coming soon and two hours will cover controlled substance prescribing that is required for license renewal. We will also offer a risk management lecture. PICA policyholders who attend this risk management session are eligible for up to a 10-percent premium discount. Those attendees who have participated in other meetings or the home study and received a 10-percent PICA discount, can receive an additional 5-percent discount for attending this risk management session up to a 15-percent total discount. Tennessee Podiatric Medical Association’s annual membership meeting will be held on Friday from 12:00-1:00 PM where members will receive an update on the association’s activities and other important information. Thank you for participating in our virtual 2020 Music City Foot & Ankle Conference.
