You will have the opportunity to learn from leading staff in the high-performance industry, whilst receiving tailored coaching and support from the professional team at ACE Performance to enhance your own performance. AREAS OF STUDY Project & Event Management Design, develop and deliver a local, interstate, or international event to improve participation, development and/or fan engagement outcomes. Health, Safety & Legal Compliance in the Sports Industry Identify common hazards and risks in a facility, and review, monitor and maintain work health & safety policies and procedures. Advanced Coaching Develop, implement, and review an integrated coaching program for community-based participants/teams. Sport Psychology Develop, review, modify and evaluate psychological support strategies for community-based athletes. Integrity in Sport Present integrity in sport and anti-doping information to community-based participants. Social Media and Marketing Develop a marketing strategy and implement a social media engagement plan to promote programs, events, or initiatives. Sponsorship & Fundraising Implement a fundraising/sponsorship campaign or submission, and undertake fundraising and sponsorship activities. Strength & Conditioning* Develop an understanding of the key principles of strength and conditioning programs for elite and semi-elite athletes. Diet & Nutrition* Develop an understanding of performance nutrition for your chosen sport. MyPlan, My Placement, My Career* Develop a detailed career plan (MyPlan) and professional portfolio to kickstart your career. Secure and complete a practical placement with our partner organisations or with other organisations in the sport, fitness, and recreation industry. Explore career pathways in real workplace settings and acquire transferable skills that employers’ value. The VET Student Loan program is available for the SIS50319 Diploma of Sport & BSB50215 Diploma of Business. A VET Student Loan will not be approved for students who do not meet eligibility requirements. In 2021, the maximum tuition fees are: SIS50319 Diploma of Sport -$10,688.95 & BSB50215 Diploma of Business - $7,392.00. A VET Student Loan gives rise to a VETSL debt that continues to be debt due to the Commonwealth until it is repaid. In 2020, the BSB50215 Diploma of Business is delivered with Victorian and Commonwealth Government funding – eligibility criteria apply.
