DANISH DESIGN
30 years of experience
Cane-line is a Danish design company with 30 years of experience in designing and manufacturing functional and
comfortable furniture, intended to suit the needs of our customers. “Life made comfortable” is the very essence and
DNA of Cane-line. Based on this, we have developed the concept “Cane-line Professional - when comfort matters”
which is our offer to the professional market.
We aim to help you achieve the best possible solution. All over the world our mission is the same; to make life
comfortable and add value to life. We are constantly focusing on quality, comfort and design in every detail of our
furniture and we ensure that our furniture is made with the greatest care for the environment and well-being of people.
Cane-line design
Cane-line works with leading Danish designers. They all share deep roots in the Danish design tradition built on
craftsmanship, quality and distinctive expression. They also share an understanding of our Cane-line vision
“life made comfortable” which is integrated in every design.
Strong and silent design
Danish design is characterized by a simple and understated expression, which complements the architecture. The
cool Nordic climate is our inspiration for the strong construction of the furniture. Our outdoor collection is designed to
withstand frost and rain as well as strong sunlight. Shape follows function in our silent and classic designs, and all furniture
is easy both to move and to store. Our indoor collection is a range based on natural materials, sculptural expressions and
versatility that capture modern design.

Foersom & Hiort-Lorenzen MDD
Johannes Foersom and Peter Hiort-Lorenzen (MDD) are two of Scandinavia’s most renowned and successful furniture
designers. Their goal is to create long-lasting value, and to stimulate a healthy development for people and their sur-
roundings. They strive towards the highest quality in cooperation, process and product, and believe that knowledge and
innovation are fundamental. The impressive use of exibility makes the furniture appear as small architectonic wonders.
Strand+Hvass
Christina Strand (MDD) and Niels Hvass (MAA) are part of the new generation of Scandinavian designers. They believe
that design itself is a strategy that can improve the conditions of human life, the environment and personal experiences.
Additionally, they believe that design can be used as a tool to develop the competitive power and economic growth of
society. Their design is usercentered and deeply rooted in the Scandinavian culture. Simplicity and well-balanced lines
are the cornerstones of their work.
Welling/Ludvik
The design duo Welling/Ludvik, Hee Welling and Gudmundur Ludvik, are contributing to the renewal of environmentally
friendly design centered around personal experience. They are defined by a pure aesthetic, stripping away excess and
letting each detail serve a functional purpose. They aim to achieve the best possible solution as seen from a number
of perspectives. Comfort, materials, construction, pricing and environment are all defining factors in their approach to
design.
byKATO
ByKATO, Karl Rüdiger Rossell and Tonny Glismand, are dedicated to creating contemporary, highly usable products for
everyday living. They aim to bridge the gap between commercial, industrial design and high-quality craftsmanship by
using honest and justifiable materials and paying careful attention to even the smallest detail. Their mantra is to design
products, which they would like to have themselves, so they always take starting point in their own needs. In this way it
all comes from the heart and the required enthusiasm is always present.
Rikke Frost
Rikke Frost believes that the materials and their combination create a unique experience both visually, functionally and
tactile. She is often fascinated by a material or a certain production method. Through the combinations of materials and
by exploiting their properties, she creates a natural utility. The designs must be seen and felt. The idiom is recognizable
and simple, focusing on colour, detail and surprising features that give the experience of a uniform design.
Jesper K. Thomsen
Jesper K. Thomsen believes that design and product development is about being realistic. He is experienced and
known for creating simplified designs that solve complex challenges. It is about the right quality at the right price, and
about durability. Fine sketches on the art board are worth nothing, if it cannot be produced at the right price or even be
produced at all.

At Cane-line the core value for good design is comfort and we believe in the optimal mix between aesthetics and
functionality. Our own internal design team is working every day with this in top of mind to create an optimal collection
with unique products adding value to your life and making your life more comfortable. Cane-line design team is also

We act as a partner and provide tailor made solutions, which suit the physical environment and optimally meet the
individual needs of our customers. With our collections, we can design your unique personal solution. We can be of
assistance by our experienced staff, starting from the drawing of the floor plan to the assembly of our furniture. The
classic and Scandinavian design has the advantages that our collections live long. Besides, we stock a large range of
furniture, so you can easily replace or complement spaces with more furniture. We are global and present in more than
100 countries. With our financial AAA+ rating, you are guaranteed continuity and stability in the cooperation.
Comfortable lifestyle furniture
Contract furniture needs to be extremely rigorous, easy maintainable, versatile and above all, comfortable in use.
Cane-line furniture is designed and conceptualized with these requirements in mind. We use only hardwearing,
low maintenance materials that are weather-resistant in all conditions. Many of our furniture is stackable and can thus
be easily stowed during the off-season.
All weather & low maintenance
With spaces under the open sky, low maintenance and easy cleaning of the furniture is an asset value in itself. From
design to the selection of materials, all furniture is produced to live long. Our special Cane-line Airflow system with
QuickDryFoam® offers a collection of comfortable furniture with an indoor feel and look, but with the features of
weather resistant outdoor furniture, which allow cushions to dry shortly after a downpour. The QuickDryFoam® core
also has anti-bacterial protection, reducing the risk of mould and mildew forming on the cushions.

Consideration for the environment and people is thought into every part of our business from management to
production of furniture. We are ISO14001 certified, which is the international environmental standard, and SA8000
certified, which is the standard for social accountability. A part of our efforts to comply with these standards, is
documenting the performance of our suppliers and of course ourselves.
This is your guarantee, that we are committed to safeguarding people and the environment. Among other things, this
means, that no child labour is allowed and that wage levels are fair and in accordance with local legislation.
Furthermore, the materials used in the production of Cane-line furniture are environment-friendly as they are toxin-free
and recyclable. We believe that responsibility goes beyond the design and production of furniture.

Can you shortly describe yourself and your background leading to your current working position today?
I grew up in the family furniture business and it was always my goal to create my own company and projects.
By analysing other companies, I wanted to create a different approach to the market and projects, hoping to become
one of the top players in my field of expertise one day and every day, making great projects and clients happy.
What kind of projects do you do most of?
The projects I most work on are hotels, resorts, restaurants and private villas.
Where do you find your inspiration?
I can find inspiration in the most unexpected places and moments. However, the most important part of a successful
project is to combine the clients vision and expectation and reinvent it through our eyes and creativity.
For how long have you been working with Cane-line?
For three years. We started working in 2016.
Why do you choose Cane-line as a partner?
Cane-line has a great combination of quality, design, price and an excellent customer service.
Which furniture is your favorite Cane-line furniture?
All Cane-line series have their own uniqueness. Honestly, I don’t have a favourite. The chosen line is the one that flows
with the project in question.

The Well - Spa & Wellness
The Well is the largest spa in the Nordic region with its 10,500 sqm. It is
a wonderful paradise, offering unique spa and bathing experiences, both
indoors and outdoors. It is a paradise to be experienced with 11 different
pools, 15 different saunas and steam rooms, more than 100 showers,
waterfalls, a Japanese bathhouse with hot springs, Oriental Hammam,
rhassoul clay treatments, relaxation rooms, restaurant and bars.
The outdoor area features a large swimming pool, two whirlpools and a
