LEARNING DOESN’T HAVE TO STOP WHEN YOU LEAVE SCHOOL Whether you are looking to upskill, get accredited, or completely retrain to change your career, Cambridge Regional College offer a range of professional training courses and adult study programmes to meet your career aspirations. How to use this guide Navigate to the sector of interest. The types of courses you will find in each are explained below. For more detailed information about each course (such as fees, times and dates) please visit our website. Professional Training Courses Choose two types of courses. Longer study programmes for adults looking to gain the knowledge, skills and qualifications to break into a new industry. Short programmes designed for those already in their chosen sector and looking to enhance their skills, or get accredited, or keep up-to-date with the latest developments. Apprenticeships and Workplace Learning If you are already in a job or about to start one but do not have the accreditation on your CV, apprenticeships and workplace qualifications could be the solution. We have strong connections with employers, so we can help you find an apprenticeship job position if you don’t already have an employer. To find out more about how this process works and view local apprenticeship vacancies, visit www.camre.ac.uk/apprenticeship Access Courses If you don’t currently have a Level 3 qualification, such as A Levels, and you aspire to study a degree, then an Access course is the answer. Higher Education Our specialist well-respected cohort of Higher Education courses are vocationally-led to prepare students for employment and sensitively timetabled to include adults who may still need to work part-time. Online Courses Our online learning programmes give you the flexibility to study from home, or from the workplace, in a really flexible and supportive environment. You will have access to a dedicated tutor to give you advice and support as and when you need it. You can enrol on an accredited Level 1 and 2 online course for FREE or opt for a non-accredited CPD online course for only £30. 4 Find out more about our courses www.camre.ac.uk
