BOOT / PAVEMENT SCOOTERS
Boot Scooters are lightweight and perfect for those wanting to stay local or go on longer
day trips and holidays. They can be easily dismantled without tools or folded to make
them fully transportable in the car boot, take on coaches, aeroplanes and cruise ships.
All boot scooters (except the eFOLDi) have a maximum speed of 4 mph with a range from
6 to 15 miles and are to be used on the pavement.

Many people prefer not to purchase a mobility aid, but that doesn’t mean
going without one. At Morecambe Bay Mobility, we offer a full range of
short-term and long-term hire options, covering hire periods from a day to a
year or more. Customers are able to choose from a variety of mobility
scooters, wheelchairs, powerchairs, walking aids, and home aids. This
includes bariatric wheelchairs that are designed to take up to 50 stone.
Holidaymakers visiting the area, have the convenient option of hiring a boot
scooter which can be folded up or disassembled and transported easily.
Alternatively, we have larger scooters to hire on request.

Scooter Hire - £20 per day or £100 per week
Wheelchair Hire - £10 per day or £50 per week
Rollator/Walking Frame Hire - £5 per day or £25 per week

Over time, it is inevitable that your mobility equipment will start to show
signs of wear and tear, while significant damage can also occur. Make
sure you aren’t left stuck without your mobility aid by choosing our very
prompt repair service and avoid further problems by having your mobility
aid serviced by one of our expert engineers. Services and repairs can be
undertaken in one of our stores or you can arrange for one of our
engineers to come out to your home**.
