WHAT REMAINS Since 1999, 300 athletes from almost 25 na- tions have been cared for. Mostly athletes who have lived their big dream. Some of them have made the leap into the big cycling world and World Tour teams. With numerous athletes, sponsors, coaches, press and media represen- tatives, as well as friends from that time, one Thomas Kofler (Team Manager) still maintains contact. Success is fleeting, what remains are the memories. Thanks to these people who have made their contribution to Team Vorarlberg, or are currently doing so, and who are committed to cycling - even in these very turbulent times. 5
STRONG PARTNERS FOR A STRONG TEAM WE ARE WELL EQUIPPED FOR 2021 - OR TO BE MORE PRECISE: WELL EQUIPPED. BECAUSE IN ADDITION TO OLD ACQUAINTANCES, WE CAN ALSO WELCOME SOME NEW PARTNERS TO THE TEAM VORARLBERG FAMILY. Without the support of sponsors, the wheels don’t turn at Team Vorarlberg. With the noble brand Argon 18 from Canada and its distribution partner United Cycling, we were able to continue the cooperation with one of our absolute dream sponsors for this season. Also still on board: Rotor as a guarantor for bike equipment at high-end level. With Institute of Speed, we can once again rely on the proven quality of Profile Design in the wheel area and the add-on parts. geobioMized, on the other hand, provides bike fitting and first-class saddles. AGU guarantees top equipment in the clothing area, the Dutch can draw on years of experience in terms of high quality sportswear. AGU has been the supplier of the world-class team Jumbo-Visma for years. This area is completed by helmets and goggles from uvex. The internationally active company should be a household name to most, why, that is reflected not least in the quality of the products. New strong partners in 2021! REMUS, Depac and AppArranger. REMUS ensures the professional performance of our team race cars, while DEPAC, as an expert in mechanical seals, is responsible for ensuring that everything literally runs like clockwork. AppArranger, on the other hand, sets new and forward-looking accents in the field of digitalization. The Vorarlberg company SAMINA, based in Frastanz, ensures the best regeneration. 6
Also still loyal partner: Lezyne with its premium quality bike computers and Sponser Nutrition: The high quality, as well as a strong innovative power make the Swiss brand Sponser the national market leader in the field of sports nutrition. Unior, in turn, is in the consortium of the Store steel factory, known for high-quality steel alloys such as chrome vanadium steel, the material from which Unior forged parts and hand tools are made. Furthermore, Elite is also one of our partners, whose indoor roller trainers ensure that our guys stay in top shape during the off-season. Speaking of fit: Handl and its Tyrolean meat specialties contribute their share to physical fitness. And last but not least, the new partners Finishline, BBB Cycling, QM Sportscare, round off the team’s appearance perfectly. And that’s not all: With SAMINA we were able to win another special partner. With its high-quality organic natural products, based on findings from sleep research and sleep medicine, SAMINA has been supporting the regenerative sleep experience for over 30 years. Let’s rock the 2021 season! Together. 7

Booster Club THE TEAM FANCLUB Together with the active board, numerous smaller and larger events are organized, co-organized and promoted. The focus is on the fun of movement, socializing and the focus on supporting the youth, especially the Käferle Kids Cup. Starting in April, the Wednesday evening rides from the RadHaus Rankweil (start at 6 pm) begin in dry weather. These have been very popular in the last few years, and the one or other pro as well as the team’s coaches are also there to share experiences or even give away a tip or two. Guided tours in and around Vorarlberg are also organized at the weekend. The support association also sees itself as a fan club of the cycling team - the volunteer members and fans actively help out at events and also conduct workshops and lectures in the area of popular sports. So a complete and well-founded offer for Vorarlberg’s male and female bike fans, whether young or young at heart! 14

history 1999 The Kofler brothers set up the “ÖAMTC Volksbank-Colnago” team in Vorarlberg. The aim is to set up an internationally competitive team within ten years. The team has already achieved its first successes at races in Austria. 2000 The young team directs for the first time also internationally in the U23 and elite range on 2001 itself. 2002 First year as GS3 team. The biggest successes: sprint and mountain jersey at the Tour of Austria and third place at the national championship. 2003 The new additions around Jure Golcer turn out to be a stroke of luck. Ongoing successes such as overall victories at the Tour of Brandenburg are celebrated, Golcer finishes second at the Tour of Austria. 2004 René Weissinger is top at the Tour of Bavaria, Pascal Hungerbühler wins Cologne-Bonn, Harald Morscher becomes national champion on the road, the up-and-coming GS3 team also wins mountain and time trial titles and ends the season in seventh place in the world 2005 rankings. Weissinger wins the Berner Rundfahrt at the start of the season and is the dominant rider in Austria with six wins this season. Harald Morscher becomes mountain champion for the 2006 second time in his career. The team becomes Austria’s first Professional Continental Team. Big names strengthen the 2007 team. A learning year with the ProTour debut at the Tour of Germany. The team gains a foothold in the ProTour, wins the sprint jersey at the Tour de Suisse, Gerrit 2008 Glomser rides a strong Tour of Austria and takes a stage win. Sprint jersey at the Tour de Suisse, mountain jersey at the Tour of Germany, overall second and stage win at the Tour of Bavaria. Not only internationally, but also nationally it is a good year for the team in a difficult time. The Cyclassics in Hamburg are another ProTour highlight in the team’s calendar. Team Vorarlberg-Corratec becomes a member of the MPCC, the movement for a credible cycling.tour for international victories. Once again, Team Vorarlberg draws attention throughout Europe with its offensive riding. 46
2010 After an internationally successful start to the season with victories and top results by René Haselbacher, the team loses its license as a professional team. But the team shows morale, Josef Benetseder wins a stage at the Tour of Upper Austria and provides two of the team’s biggest triumphs by winning the mountain jersey at the Tour of Austria and the overall victory in the Austrian Tchibo Top Rad Liga. 2011 In addition to a great performance at the start stage of the Tour of Austria in Ländle in front of 30,000 spectators, followed by winning the Austrian Cycling League for the first time. The best team in the 2011 season was Team Vorarlberg. The most successful season 2012 since the team was founded. 18 season victories, 40 podium placements as well as several championship titles at national championships stand to book. The highlight of the season was without a doubt the 3rd place overall at the Tour of Austria. A year with many ups 2013 and downs. The team knew how to convince nationally and internationally. In the Tchibo TopRadliga, the team was again able to hold its own as the overall runner-up in the team classification. 2014 Smaller with 12 riders, but fine the squad presented itself in the 16th season. Nevertheless, great victories were achieved, such as at the national tours in Taiwan, Iran and China. In total, there were nine victories, six second places and ten third places. 2015 The overall victory by Victor de la Parte and two stage wins in the most difficult Tour of Austria in history were the most outstanding successes. 2016 In the year one after winning the Tour of Austria, the team fully convinced! Patrick Schelling reached the excellent third place overall at the Tour of Austria 2016. Furthermore, the team achieved two more Tour victories with the Flèche du Sud UCI 2.2 (LUX) and the Tour du Loire et Cher UCI 2.2 (FRA) and numerous top placings. 2017 To be able to stand on the podium at the oldest German classic race “Rund um Köln” - this dream came true for Team Vorarlberg through Fabian Lienhard with third place.
