He started making things when he was 7 after being inspired by a Hindi movie on robots. A few projects he has worked on recently that he is particularly proud about include a low-cost 3D printed mind or voice-controlled bionic arm that is being used by an amputee in India, a six-feet tall humanoid robot, a range of mind-controlled toys intended as a futuristic method of treating ADHD and a virtual presence robot. He has won awards at competitions for his projects such as the 2 top prizes at the Gulf 3D printing Olympiad, 1st at the World 3D Printing Olympiad, Best Presentation award at a Young Scientist Award, and was the Grade Prize winner at a Business Challenge. Fiona Chan is Head of Media Strategy and Analytics at Singapore Press Holdings, where she oversees business strategy, strategic partnerships, innovation management, data analytics and research for the media business. She practices palliative medicine, caring for terminally ill patients at St Luke’s Hospital. Prior to taking the helm at Trehaus, she was the CEO of CRIB, a social enterprise she co-founded to empower women to become successful entrepreneurs. Her experiences inspired her to start Trehaus and provide a solution for other working parents to find work-life integration, pursuing successful careers and businesses while prioritizing family and not missing out on their children’s’ precious, formative first years. Her deep passion in early education inspired her to co-found Trehaus School, an innovative preschool that focuses on building character and raising future-ready changemakers. Drawing on his 20 years of corporate expertise Adam moved into consulting and training, firstly in Australia and over the last 12 years in Asia, living in Taiwan and now Singapore. He has worked on change management programmes for a range of MNCs, such as Unilever, Holcim, HSBC and Conoco Philips. In recent years he has been applying traditional change management and employee engagement principles to assist companies embed sustainable business practices. DINESH BALASINGAM Chief Operating Officer, Chope Dinesh is in Forbes' 30 Under 30 Asia 2018, a list which features 300 young disruptors, innovators and entrepreneurs across Asia who are under the age of 30.
