THE DIGITAL BANKER would like to extend you a very warm welcome to the
Global Retail Banking Innovation Summit & Awards 2018.

As customer demand gears towards highly personalised services, anytime-
anywhere banking and digital banking, disruptive technology such as Artificial
Intelligence, Cognitive Robotics, DLT & Open APIs are enabling services that
were historically unattainable. Parallel to this, Fin-tech proliferation is accelerating
innovation and competition in the industry.

However, in order to achieve digital success, banks must undoubtedly develop
relevant capabilities in technology, skills and processes, whilst simultaneously
fortifying ‘digital trust’ and complying with increasing regulations. Anything less,
and the risk of becoming ‘irrelevant’ in the digital economy is inevitable.

The Global Retail Banking Innovation Summit wiil explore and identify the
most high-impact trends together with enterprise applications of new technology
through use cases, demonstrations, thought leadership and the evening Awards
Gala. The summit offers banks a chance to remain abreast of new developments,
anticipated disruption and regulation in the consumer banking ecosystem.

The Global Retail Banking Innovation Awards program has been created
to serve as accolades of excellence, attributed to outstanding players, and aim
to be impartial and unbiased, objective benchmarks for the global retail banking
sector. They recognise the institutions and individuals that have demonstrated
market-leading offerings in Payments, Loans, Product Perosnalisation, Service
Innovation, Digital Banking, Marketing Campaigns & more.

The overwhelming number and quality of submissions were extremely impressive

      Amer is the regional Head of Digital Strategy & Innovation at Deloitte Digital, based
      in Singapore. He uses techniques from startups, creative agencies and consulting
      to help organisations reimagine their future in a rapidly changing digital economy.
      Over the last three years Amer has helped to scale Deloitte Digital from the ground
      up to the leading digital creative consultancy in the region, helping numerous
      clients on their digital transformation journey. Previously he was General Manager
      & Head of Strategy at Deepend, Australia’s largest independent Digital agency.
      Over the past 18 years he has also built several successful startups.
      Amer holds a degree in Computer Science as well as an MBA majoring in
      Marketing. He was a finalist for 2011 Young Executive of the Year and has been
      featured in numerous publications including Australian Financial Review, AdNews,

      Andrew Taggart
      Partner, Financial Services Leader,
      PwC South East Asia Consulting
      Andrew leads PwC’s Financial Services Consulting business across South East
      Asia, based in Singapore. In this role, he is focused on bringing the best of PwC
      to help financial services clients solve their most pressing business issues. He
      brings a strategic perspective of the trends shaping the future of financial services
      including digitization, customer centricity, AI and analytics, automation, Fintech
      innovation, productivity optimisation, regulation and competition.
      Andrew has over 20 years of experience in driving customer focused business
      and technology transformations. He has worked with leading banks, insurers

Anurag Mathur

Anurag Mathur was previously Head of International, Asia-Pacific Retail Banking
& Wealth Management at HSBC with direct responsibility over eight markets,
comprising Bangladesh, Brunei, Macau, Mauritius, New Zealand, Philippines, Sri
Lanka and Vietnam.
Having joined the HSBC Group in Hong Kong in 2009, he has held senior regional
roles in product management, strategic planning and business performance
management. He is an Executive Committee member for Retail Banking and
Wealth Management, Asia Pacific.
In his career spanning over twenty years, Anurag has worked in Singapore,
Australia and Hong Kong. He holds a Master of Business Administration (Financial
Management) from the University of Western Australia and is a Member of the
Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Greg McCreanor
Principal Solution Consultant

Greg is a Principal Solutions Consultant for MuleSoft based in Sydney and
has over 20 years’ experience working in both core systems and integration
technologies. Since joining MuleSoft he has brought valuable insight to our
customers and prospects about their current technical challenges and how to
move to the next generation of solutions. In the last 3 years, he has worked
extensively with Government agencies in Australia and New Zealand modernising
their core systems to meet the demands of citizens, new regulations, and to
enable the more efficient management of related public sector schemes.

      Manprit Singh
      Director, Data & AI
      Avanade
      Manprit Singh, Enterprise AI solutions Architect and mentor at Avanade. He drives
      the architecture, technology readiness & creation of AI infused innovative offerings
      for various industries.
      He consults customers in identifying use cases that have high potential of
      benefiting from AI infusion. By skilfully applying design thinking he makes AI and
      machine learning real for his customers, helping them in their digital transformation
      journey. He also builds minimum viable products for those use cases and
      mentors in realization of these MVPs into sustained products and offerings. These
      solutions have solved a wide range of problems in areas such as Contact Centers,
      Insurance Claims, AI enabled RPA, Digital Marketing, KYC, Financial markets,
      Field Service, Citizen Engagement, Industrial Automation, Aviation Safety, Audio-
      Video-Image analytics, Social Care, etc. Several of these have subsequently
      been deployed, resulting in positive business outcomes. His focus industries
      have been banking, financial markets, insurance, homeland security and defence,
      automotive, healthcare.
      Manprit brings a broad range of industry and technology delivery experience into
      his current role at Avanade. Before joining Avanade, Manprit held engineering
      positions at, IBM Watson, Siemens Healthineers. At IBM Watson he drove
      innovation by creating AI solutions that leveraged ML/DL, NLP, advanced
      analytics, as well as Cloud and IoT capabilities with clients globally. Early in his
      carrier at Siemens he had the opportunity to work on computer aided diagnostics
      platforms for radiology.
      He has a masters in Computer Sciences and gets invited to speak at a lot at
      events and do guest lectures to graduate level classes in Analytics & Machine
      Learning. He keeps a close watch on the research areas in the field and strives to
      bring promising developments into production applications.
      In his free time he contemplates about future of humanity with AI and finds was for
      applying AI to primary education.
Marc Mathenz
Managing Director for Asia Pacific
Fiserv Asia Pacific
Marc Mathenz is the managing director for the Asia Pacific region in the
International Group at Fiserv, Inc. Joining the company in early 2015, he
oversees business development, sales and marketing, operations and customer
relationships for the region.
Mathenz has a strong background in business and corporate development as
well as operations. He has a demonstrable track record of managerial excellence
and shareholder value creation with experience working for blue chip leaders
in financial services, financial technology, payments services, professional and
business services as well as software. In addition, he has experience in the
private equity and early stage venture capital sector and co-founded a successful
technology corporate finance advisory business.
Previously, Mathenz was with First Data for a decade, most recently as senior
vice president (SVP), head of Asia Pacific, responsible for managing the First Data
business across 12 countries and prior to that role as Chief Financial Officer, Asia
Pacific.
Mathenz has held a number of senior posts based in London at Henderson
Private Capital Ltd, GorillaPark Ltd, Tomkins Plc and Credit Suisse First Boston.
He received a Master’s of Business Administration from London Business School,
U.K., and a Bachelor’s of Business Administration from Goizuetta Business School
at Emory University, U.S. He is also a member of the Association of Chartered
Certified Accountants (ACCA) and a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charter
holder.

Nauman Bashir
Head of Digital Banking

Nauman is heading Digital Banking in Standard Chartered Bank in Singapore
In his most recent positions Nauman has been managing Regional Programmes
and Investments. Nauman has led large transformational programs in the
bank adopting emerging digitization and simplifications trends. Leveraging on
technology, architecture and capability based models to future proof these
investments.

      Sanjoy Sen
      Managing Director, Head of Strategy & Finance, Consumer Banking & Wealth Management

      Sanjoy Sen is the Head of Strategy & Finance for the Consumer Banking &
      Wealth Management Group in DBS Bank Ltd. Prior to joining DBS, Mr Sen was
      the Managing Director of Retail & Wealth Business for Asia for ANZ. He is a
      senior international banker with more than 25 years of experience in Consumer
      and Commercial Banking. He joined ANZ in 2012 and was based in Singapore.
      Prior to joining ANZ, he served as Citigroup’s Managing Director and Consumer
      Bank Head for Middle East & North Africa. Prior to that, he served as the Chief
      Operating Officer and Retail Banking Head for Citibank in China.

      Shefali Gupta
      Executive Director, Technology & Operations, Strategy & Planning Management Office
      DBS Bank (Singapore)
      Shefali is a senior international banker with 18 years of experience in consumer
      and corporate banking with Citigroup and DBS Bank. In her current role
      as Executive Director of the Technology & Operations Strategy & Planning
      Management Office, Shefali has executive oversight in areas such as Customer
      Experience (CE), Strategic Initiatives, Change Management and Future of
      Learning. As the regional CE lead for consumer and private banking, Shefali
      oversaw and executed CE strategies for DBS, Southeast Asia’s largest bank, in
      countries including India and Indonesia, and developed customer acquisition and
      on-boarding framework for the affluent segment. She has consistently led projects
      and teams to exceed set goals and expectations in wealth management, cards
      and consumer liabilities businesses, among others.
      Prior to DBS, Shefali held several senior positions in Citigroup India and the UK,
      spanning business management, sales, marketing, credit and operations. In her
      last role as Senior Vice President, CITI EMEA, she was the Head of Client Delivery,
      Service & Credit, Commercial and Pre-paid cards, and was a member of the
      Commercial Cards Management Committee. Based in Singapore, Shefali studied
      Management in India and is married with one daughter.

      Shirish is with PwC Strategy&’ Financial Services practice where he leads
      Payments for the region. He recently relocated to Singapore after spending 19
      years in Australia. Shirish brings rich industry and consulting experience of over
      15 years in domestic and cross-border payments, and FinTech, innovation in
      Singapore, Australia, and other Southeast, South Asian countries. His portfolio
      includes regulators, banks, payments utilities, industry associations, and start-ups.
      With in payments his success stories span national transformation to cashless,
      digital financial inclusion, growth and market entry strategies, and payments
      innovation.
