Bognor Regis Place St. Maur Paving options 13 Waves : organic Sand Ripples : geometric Concept & colour A paving tapestry will form the centre piece to the regenerated Place St. Maur. Emerging concepts for the paving design take their inspiration from the Bognor Regis seafront with references including organic wave-like flows, geometric forms echoing the ever changing sand ripples, and abstract coastal wildlife patterning. All paving options will be exploring how the design can be potentially extended across the Esplanade to better connect Place St Maur to the seafront in the future. Bognor Regis Esplanade concept Place St. Maur 16 As part of the Place St Maur regeneration project the design concepts will extend to include The Esplanade and explore potential opportunities for future improvements between Lennox Street and Clarence Road. The Place St Maur paving design would be extended across onto The Esplanade streetscape creating a more vibrant, welcoming and pedestrian-friendly environment integrated with other landscape improvements such as new planting, seating and in-ground infrastructure to facilitate events. The vision for both Place St Maur and The Esplanade would be to create a single identity and space for Bognor Regis able to accommodate a variety of events in the future - including along the Esplanade with periods of traffic restrictions to ensure pedestrian priority and greater use by the local community and visitors alike.
