WELCOME
We are pleased to present our 4th annual bull and female sale offering. As ranchers, cattlemen, and farmers,
we have done what was necessary to get through the past couple drought years. We are a hardworking,
resilient, and resourceful bunch while still caring about our neighbors and friends more than ourselves. Thank
you for trusting us with your seedstock purchases. We have worked hard to source cutting edge genetics from
outstanding cow families across North America.
When walking through this group of sale bulls, you are overwhelmed with power and performance. As ranchers,
we sell by the pound and in this day and age, we
need to make more profit from the cows we have,
whether it’s from improved value in replacement
females or additional pounds on the steer calves.
With the genetics we have on offer in 2022, we
believe that it is possible…. without compromising
the ideal Angus udder and maternal qualities that
can’t be found in other breeds.
There are many full siblings in the sale offering
that would create consistency and uniformity in
your calf crop. This year, we have an exceptional
group of registered replacement females. We
were able to dig deep and offer up some of the
very best.
The bulls and heifers were weaned without
creep on Sept 15th. They have been raised with
longevity in mind and fed a pellet and silage
ration. Again this year, we are including feet videos on DLMS. We want our bidders and buyers to have all
the confidence in the world purchasing online or at the sale. The bulls were given “Clean UP” this winter. New
this year, the bulls with be foot rot vaccinated. The bulls and females have been GS tested for genomic and
performance traits which are referenced in the catalogue. We have included an explanation on the GS traits on
pages 4 and 5.

The cross on the Connealy Thunder, PVA A184 donor co,w produced a wicked set of bull calves. This set of
flush mates comes to the top, while some take after the more moderate look of the dam others are big and
rugged with tons of performance like the old 9969 sire. You can’t really go wrong, either way on these young
sires. They will produce exceptional udders, good feet and lots of performance and growth in the offspring.
In our 2021 sale, the PVA Blackcap A184 cow raised a top selling bull. JPM President 205H selected by
Hickory Corner Farms. She is also the dam of the donor, PVA Blackcap 6284, who has many offspring in this
year’s sale.

dam, 41C, is one of our favorite cows with a perfect dam. We have a couple Harvestor dams and they

at Origen. Southern Charm is an easy fleshing with excellent feet
and exceptional fertility. We used him the last couple years with
great results and we were super disappointed to only have one
Southern Charm bull on offer this year. In 2021 Southern Charm
sons went to cattleman and horse trainer, Clint Christianson
at Stoney Hills Ranch, repeat customer David Vollmer and the
Mastad Family at Single Seven Ranch at Glentworth. Many of
you may have seen Milt Mastad’s video of him training the two
Southern Charm sons he purchased at last year’s sale to load with
