ONLINE TRAINING: HULL CURRICULUM Make the most out of your school’s Hull Curriculum package by booking an online teacher training session for your school! This FREE training is open to all teachers and teaching assistants from Hull Curriculum Member Schools*. In this online tutorial, our Digital Learning Officer will guide you through the Hull Curriculum and the benefits of using it for school and home learning. Session content includes: Accessing the Hull Curriculum Teacher and Pupil log-ins Group and independent learning Navigating the digital platform Making the most of the vast range of resources Exploring how the Hull Curriculum can be used across the curriculum: in history, geography, English, science, and ADT. You’ll also find out more about the wide range of exclusive online resources available exclusive to Hull Curriculum Member Schools, such as videos, photographs, documents from the museums’ collections - as well as teaching ideas and learning projects packs. Booking Tips 1) Check your school is a Hull Curriculum member (see list above) 2) Allocate one staff member to book on behalf of the school, for example this could be a teacher or the school office. 3) Choose whether you’d prefer a Monday or Tuesday and decide on the best time for teachers to participate. The training could take place before school, after school, or any time during the day. 4) Contact heritagelearning@hcandl.co.uk with two or three potential dates/times. We’ll get back to you and confirm your training session. 5) Provide us with a list of teacher email adresses and we’ll send a reminder about the training and ensure everyone is kept up-to-date with new and exciting Hull Curriculum content. 6) Ensure all teachers taking part have access to Microsoft Teams, (however if you would prefer to use Zoom instead, please let us know!)
