Dreamlike tour in the northern polar region

Starting in Arvidsjaur your route takes you into the breathtaking
surroundings of Swedish Lapland. Visit the Storforsen, a spectacular
ensemble of ice and snow, sculptured by the largest rapids of
Scandinavia. Leaving Storforsen for the Polar Circle, the crossing of
this very special Northern Latidude will be celebrated as a unique
moment. Get to know more about the culture and history of the Sami
people at the Jokkmokk Sami Museum before visiting one of
the most spectacular hotels in the world - the Icehotel at
Jukkasjärvi, all made up from Torne River ice blocks. Keep
your fingers crossed for the overwhelming Northern Lights.
The 5-day full week experience then continues through
stunning wintry mountains of the Swedish-Norwegian
border. Once the Norwegian coasts shows up the trip heads
south between mountain and sea, including a fjord ferry ride.
Spend a night with a beautiful fjord view at Rognan before
going back over the Arctic Circle to Arvidsjaur - a ride from
sea level to more than 700 metres.
