October Ace Café – Sunday 10th October 2021

The Ace Café is on this month, El Campo Bar Restaurant, Camino de Travessera de les Cansalades, 134,
Xàbia, Sunday 10th October 2021 from 10:30 to 13:00. We hope to see many of you there!

Monsoon Thai Evening – Thursday 14th October 2021

We are planning a Thai (early) evening at Monsoon Thai, Av. del Mediterráneo, 10, Xàbia on
Thursday 14th October 2021. The menu will have a choice of 3 starters, 3 or 4 main courses and a
dessert with half bottle of wine per person – for 20€. We are arranging reserved car parking on the
beach opposite the restaurant. If you want to attend, please email the organiser, Richard Rihan,
using richard.rihan@marinaaltaccc.com by close of play this Wednesday (6th October 2021).

October Rally – Sunday 24th October 2021

Following the disappointment that we could not organise the Annual Rally for October 2021, the
committee have decided to make the October monthly rally a little more special. The route will take
us past the Museo Vehículos Históricos, Valle de Guadalest, for a coffee stop, and finish at Hotel
Alahuar, Vall de Laguar; a four-star hotel with a menu to match. We will send out another news flash
with more information and how to book nearer the time. The cost is likely to be 27€. Entrance to the
museum is optional and costs 7€ if this is something you would like to do.

Valencia Motor Classic Show – 3rd December 2021

We are planning a trip to the València Motor Classic on Friday 3rd December 2021. This is a show of
classic cars and motorcycles and also has an autojumble for spare parts. More informatipn is

If you are interested in attending can we please ask you to answer the following questions:
     1. Would you prefer to make your own way there or go in a MACCC organised group?
     2. Would you prefer to drive your classic car there, or go in your ‘shopping’ car, or go in a
         MACCC organised coach?

Website changes

Members are advised that much of the information on the website is now only available in the
private Member Area. This is accessed using the username: macccmembers and password: acecafe.
In the Member Area you will find:
     • all previous news flashes,
     • the events calendar and all event information,
     • all monthly rally routes and information about how you can plan a rally for the club,
     • details of member discounts, and
     • information about how to import a car to Spain

Member discounts
We currently have two car parts distributors that will sell parts to MACCC members at a discount:
Classic Mini Parts (Including parts for MG, Triumph, Jaguar, Rolls Royce, Bentley, and more) and Auto
Recambios Crisam. To get the discount you will need to show your current membership card, either
in person, or scanned if you are buying over the phone or online. If you don’t yet have your
membership card you ask for your card at the merchandise desk at the Ace Café.

The club also has a special arrangement with Shell and with the special Shell Discount card you can
get a discount on fuel. You can ask for a card at the merchandise desk at the Ace Café.

Information about these discounts is available in the Member Area of the website.

Clothing sale
We raised 90€ at the last Ace Café by selling off odd items of club clothing at 5€ per item. We are
offering more stock at the October Ace Café, after which the total proceeds will be donated to
'Project 4 All', a charity feeding and housing homeless people, Benitatxell. Have a look at their
