TAIERI SHIELD Sunday 30 August was a beautiful morning in Alexandra. The sun was shining and no wind, ideal shooting conditions. Fifty-four secondary school pupils mainly from Otago and Southland registered to compete in the Taieri Shield shoot. It is a pleasure to run intercollegiate shoots as the shooters are always keen to get on the mark. Thanks to shooters, parents, Alexandra CTC members who turned up and helped on the day. Much appreciated. RESULTS First up was Skeet with two possibles, Clark Ewing (StK) and Mikayla Bryant (Waitaki Girls’).
