LETTER FROM THE PRESIDENT November 2019 Dear Members: On behalf of all the membership, each employee is given a week’s salary as a Christmas or Holiday gift. As hopefully all of our members understand, our staff goes above and beyond the call of duty to provide special service to each of our members. They often work late at night, on holidays and weekends to ensure that each member receives the highest level of Lehigh service. Whether it is cutting grass at 6:00 a.m. or cleaning up from social events at 2:00 a.m., we have a dedicated and committed group of professionals who serve the membership very well. Many club members often tip certain visible members of the staff during the holiday season. Unfortunately, many key staff members are invisible to the membership, yet are critical to the success of Lehigh. In order to show our appreciation to each full-time staff member, the Board has elected to provide an easy vehicle for club members to thank all of the staff at this special time of the year. If you desire, and this is strictly voluntary, in your monthly statement there will be a slip for you to fill out indicating the amount you wish to contribute or you can add the contribution to your October payment as a gift for all of the employees of Lehigh Country Club in addition to the one week’s salary. The funds collect- ed will be equally divided and will be greatly appreciated. Only full-time employees of one full year of service or more will be eligible and all employees will receive a card with the names of all contributors. Our Senior Management Team will not benefit from this effort. The Board created this vehicle to send member’s thanks in an efficient way to each long-term employee. They sincerely hope that you will consider a gift to these loyal and dedicated staff members. I thank you in advance for your consideration and support of our wonderful team. Please feel free to reach out to me personally if you have any questions. On behalf of the entire staff of Lehigh Country Club, we wish you and your family a wonderful Thanksgiving Holiday. Sincerely, John T. Yurconic, President 14 LEHIGH COUNTRY CLUB | WWW.LEHIGHCC.COM | (610)433-7443

SOCIAL Lori’s Lehigh history starts as a teenager serving under the Food and Beverage Manager Bernie. After many years spent managing the Food & Beverage industry she returned in April 2013 to revitalize the Halfway House. She was pleasantly surprised by the effortless camaraderie with Ladies and Men’s Golfers alike. Members’ supported Lori by frequenting her Macungie Farmers Market stand Thursday evenings. The rapport formed with membership began to feel more like family and made for an ideal transition into the Golf Shop. Her time away from Lehigh is spent restoring positive energy: walking cooking, meditation and sketching. Sharing time with her two children and two grandchildren is an immeasurable blessing! If you or someone you know would like to nominate an employee for this prestigious award please click here to access the online form. This form can also be found on the home page of the website under "My Club” and “Employee Recognition". All previous month's winners are announced in the following month's newsletter in addition to the "Employee Recognition" section of the "My Club" tab of the website. 21 LEHIGH COUNTRY CLUB | WWW.LEHIGHCC.COM | (610)433-7443
